Lunarable Floral Fabric by The Yard, Colorful Flower Petals Damasko Style Mixed Tones Shabby Form Design, Stretch Knit Fabric for Clothing Sewing and Arts Crafts, 3 Yards, Dark Coral Umber

I really like this piece of fabric. I ordered one yard and plan to make a curtain for my sewing room. The only thing I don’t care for is that it’s microfiber, so it has a significant amount of static cling to it. It’s lightweight, so I’m planning to put a lace or sheer curtain behind it. The product description is a little confusing if you are used to the standard way that fabric is measured in the US. In most fabric stores, a cut of one yard would mean a piece of fabric 36 inches long, and either 44-45 or 60 inches wide. This piece is 36 inches “wide” and around 90 inches long, looking at it from the “usual” perspective. So you are basically getting the same amount of square inches as what would commonly equal two yards at 45 inches wide, but the proportions are different than what you may be used to. I did figure this out prior to ordering, but I had to read the description a few times to “get it”. Depending on the direction of the design chosen, this may affect some people’s projects, but for what I am making it shouldn’t be a problem. I tried to show what I mean in the first two photos. I think the print is adorable for a curtain, but I probably wouldn’t use it for a clothing item because of the way the microfiber feels.

1. It took China 35 days from my order date to receive at my home in Idaho.2. Don't be fooled like I was. This is a lovely hummingbird PANEL.3. The PANEL's actual measurements are: the printed part...38-1/4 inches wide by 61-1/2 inches long. With the white edges included, that adds 2-3/8 inches more to the width.4. This fabric is exquisite, but I wouldn't use it on outside furniture as a covering unless it's under cover & out of the sun & rain. It would be wonderful as an indoor sofa pillow cover, or other indoor furniture coverings. It's very sturdy.5. There's a ruler measuring the print's size, so just look at the photo to see how large the birds are.

The colors are so vibrant. I recovered some dining room chairs and the fabric wears really well. Easy to use, thin but sturdy. Perfect for this application.

Exactly as pictured. Came out great. The fabric is a little on the smooth side. I wish it was a little more like cottony and a little textured but for the price it’s great.

Even my photos appear darker. I ordered this bc the orange looked dark and rich but what I got looks like a fluorescent traffic cone! The fabric that I originally ordered got lost in the mail so I settled on this due to a deadline to finish this project. I don’t have time to find something else. My client is going to hate it!!

It should have been cotton polyester not polyester only. Would have been easier to see.
