Epson EF-12 3LCD, Full HD, 1000 Lumens, 150 Inch Display, Android TV, Sound by Yamaha, Gaming & Home Cinema Laser Projector - Black

I am probably going to echo what a lot of other reviewers have said, but this is a top projector in this price point and although improvements could be made (which I will address shortly), you really do get a good deal for your money. The unit is compact considering it has built in speakers, it's lightweight, quite attractive and made from decent materials. I mount it on a tripod and it's perfectly stable. Setup is relatively simple but may take longer than expected as it updates the firmware and then you will go through setting up Google TV. If you have a Google account all set up on your smartphone already (and have the Google Home app installed) then this will speed up the process. The projector will automatically focus and correct the keystone giving your a sharp, bright, vivid image which at 1080p you really can't fault. I was totally blown away (after putting up with a cheap £180 projector this was replacing). I tried various scenarios, from connecting a Chromecast dongle (to stream Netflix), a connection to my TV/Set-top Box and my PlayStation 4. Everything working flawlessly and no noticeable lag on the PS4. The sound quality equally good considering we are talking about 2 x 5W speakers. But there are some niggles. 1.The cover for the battery compartment on the remote was so difficult to remove, I had to take a thin blade to prise it open. It took several minutes and all the time I thought it was going to break. Anyone with dexterity problems would have great difficulty with this. 2. All the inputs are on the side of the projector, which means an unsightly array of cables and dongles dangling from the side rather than being tucked away at the back. This could be an issue if you are mounting it on a ceiling. 3. The square hole at the front with its dropped lens looks a bit odd, I am not sure why it was designed like that, either way a sliding lens cover would have been a good idea here. 4. The speakers sound really good, no distortion and are loud enough, but they understandably lack bass. You will need to look at an external speaker setup for a true immersive cinema experience, though you will have to allow for another wire protruding from the side! Overall though I am very happy with my purchase and after watching extensive reviews on YouTube and elsewhere, the consensus is that this is the best you can buy for under a grand.

I recently purchased the Epson EF-12 3LCD projector and I have to say, I'm really impressed with it so far. The image quality is fantastic - the colors are vibrant and the details are really crisp. However, I've found that it works perfectly fine in a dark or dimly lit room, which is usually where I watch movies anyway. Overall, I would definitely recommend the Epson EF-12 3LCD projector to anyone who's looking for a high-quality, portable projector for their home. It's a bit pricier than some other options out there, but the image quality and ease of use make it totally worth it in my opinion.

Great quality using a 80 screen prefect picture have been using it mainly for gaming no lag sound is brilliant no need for external speaker only downnfall is no netflix cannot be downloaded however I plugged my sky q box in and watched through that great for movie nights

So far I've been really impressed by the Epson EF-12. It took a few days to get it mounted on the ceiling so in the meantime, I'd sit with it on my lap projecting onto a screen about 2m away. This gave a good 100" picture with an excellent contrast and brightness. I think what really impressed me was the sound quallity from such a small box - it certainly punches above it's weight and I think in many situations, no external set-up would be required. Once I got it ceiling mounted and connected to an external amp it really came into it's own. The UI allows good keystoning and quick changes to the picture settings using pre-sets and more precise changes at the next level of settings. In a darkened room it offers a great cinema experience and I'm really not too bothered about it not being 4k - it's a detailed picture with no motion blur. The only sort of criticism is that the auto-focus no longer comes on. I was impressed by how quickly the projector would refocus when it was sat on my lap. It would take a moment to flash a series of dots on the screen and then identify the corners of the screen. The fact it doesn't do that now it's permanently upside down may be by design - why should the projector auto-focus when it is in a fixed position? But it's a highly recommended bit of kit and much better than my old LG ultra-short throw - the kids now want to watch a movie on the big screen. I purchashed the projector from Amazon Warehouse and it seemed to be like new.

Useless: image was tilted backwards and sideways whatever the orientation of the projector, so probably some component had come adrift inside it. Return process requested immediately. The returns label from the seller was not prepaid, which it should have been for this international transaction. I pointed this out; they did then send a prepaid label and arranged pickup by DHL. This was done, but no refund, and DHL came again a week later to "pick up the parcel". This was sorted out by DHL and I now have the refund. Admittedly the later problem was down to DHL, but I think some customers would not have checked the Amazon Marketplace returns T&Cs and would have paid to return the item.

Apple tv ile kullanılınca appletvnin ayarlarından filmin fpsi ile cihazı eşleme özelliği açıldığında 24hz bile ayar yapılabiliyor. özellikle amazon primedan bir film izlerken çoğunlukla 24fps olan bu filmleri 30hz 50hz 60hz modlarında izlerseniz hareketli görüntülerde atlamalar olur. siz fark etmeseniz bile göze yorucu gelir. ama appletv ile bu özellik açılınca film açıldığında otomatik 24hz moduna geçiyor ve görüntü çok daha uygun oluyor. Eksileri demeyelim de daha iyi olsa mükemmel olurmuş diyeceğim özelliklerini sıralayayım: Parlaklığı bir tık daha yüksek olsaymış mükemmel olurmuş ama akşamları hiçbir sorun yaratmıyor. Gecikme süresi 100ms civarında. Oyun projeksiyonu performansı da beklemiyoruz ancak şöyle bir 40-50 olsa mis gibi olurmuş. Ses sistemi... her ne kadar Yamaha tarafından yapıldı vs diye reklam edilse de ben ses sistemini pek beğenmedim. Iam very happy with this projector quality is outstanding most of the times. Was worried About the brightness but pleasingly surprised. The dark levels are not the best especially if Watching night scenes .not as clear as my 4k TV. I brought from Ireland first I was sent to UK site where I brought it only to realise it was in pounds not euros .my bad and also I'd have to pay duty because of brexit. So I went on to the greman site amazon.de And got it for €990 This was the cheapest so watch out for other stores on amazon selling for much dearer The dearest I saw was £1750 So be careful. You might think €990 is dear but its a Laser so you are usually taking €2000- €3000

1080p die perfect voldoet om op een witte muur te projecteren zelfs met lichte lichtinval. Enige nadeel is dat je een pc met deftige grafische kaart nodig hebt om het volledige genot te krijgen.

E' il secondo proiettore, ma questo è su un altro livello. Ha un dettaglio, una luminosità, un audio eccellenti. Ha un media center integrato (Android) che fa il suo lavoro. La qualità comunque è la cosa mi ha stupito di più ... su contenuti anche in 4K (nonostante sia in 1080p) il livello di dettaglio è davvero ottimo. Si vedono chiaramente i capelli, erba, foglie ... non viene impastato nulla. Giocando con i parametri (che già di fabbrica sono ottimi), si posso anche ottenere miglioramenti per casi specifici. Si vede bene anche con una finestra vicina, ma al buoi è davvero stratosferico. A questo prezzo ci si porta a casa l'esperienza di un cinema.
