I'm still having trouble removing insulation from Russian litz wire and I was expecting better results with less agitation. I'm still agitated and the tonearm is still on the bench. Granted, this isn't the easyist wire to work with , but I has less trouble with Hirakawa silver plated copper than this Russian stuff. The wire looks clean but nothing will stick to it so I believe insulation is still present. A solder pot may be the only way to get the job done or some different wire.
