He had tried a prescription from his doctor, but the side effects were too uncomfortable to deal with, so he discontinued the meds. He tried saw palmetto, as well as a different supplement, but really didn't see any significant results, so I began searching for a supplement that had positive reviews at a reasonable price that might give him some relief from his symptoms. Within a week of using this product, he noticed a real improvement! He increased the dosage from two to three times per day, and has seen significant improvement in symptoms, greatly improving quality of life. I don't know if this will work for everyone, but I know that this is more than placebo effect, as he has tried other supplements with much more limited success. Hope that this review helps men in a similar situation, looking for a natural alternative to medications. No more desperate searches for a bathroom or rest area while on the road! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great product, resonably priced! *by K***D on July 5, 2013* I started using this product when it arrived in April and I must say it has exceeded my expectations. I have had prostate issues for several years and have been taking two (2) 2MG capsules of Terazosin as prescribed by my doctor in the evening before retiring. However, due to the side effects I was experiencing with Terazosin I wanted to find a dietary supplement formula that would allow me to cut back on the dosage of Terazosin. I am now urinating better today than I have in years. I was getting up at least twice a night for a bathroom trip and now sleep through the night without getting up for a trip to the john. I also, through my doctor of course, have been able to cut out the use of Terazosin entirely. I highly recommend this product. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works great! From 4 to 6 times per night urinating down to 1 now. *by C***S on December 8, 2014* I started researching for products that could help with the symptoms of a possible enlarged prostate as I was getting up sometimes 4 to 6 times a night to urinate and I was tired of it. The reviews of people on here that are low are confounding to me. Either they don't have an enlarged prostate or they are not taking the product properly is my guess.This has worked perfectly for me and the effect was almost immediate. I think it took just 2 or 3 days before I noticed I wasn't getting up as often. Now a couple weeks after taking the product I am only waking up once a night and I am urinating a lot more at one time (volume wise). I wasn't having trouble with stream flow before, so I can't speak to it's effectiveness if you are having that problem.I also no longer have nearly as strong, urgent feelings to get to the restroom. This has been wonderful and I can highly recommend it.
