If you bought the welder I love mine it works like a dream I’ve had it for 2 years. Not use the plasma yet but the welder has not given me an issue yet and I take it with to repair art and sculptures on site

Works good as advertised. I ended up cutting the housing to angle it more and relocated the dial to my welding cart ( a few times I changed setting with my foot ) and changed the cable to come out the other end . Now it’s perfect .

I bought this foot pedal for my welder/plasma cutter. It was less expensive than the one from the manufacturer and looks well made. Only time will tell if it is worth the price.

Use on my TIG welder. Gives easier control to the welding process.

First, it just feels cheap. Second, as a new TIG welder, I've watched a ton of videos and know that pedals are supposed to stop at the amperage you set at the machine. This pedal replaces both the button on the torch AND the controls at the machine. So let's say you wanted to max out at 110. Nope. You max that pedal out and it will go to the max your machine can go with the amperage. For me, that's a little problem because I haven't yet installed a dedicated breaker (was about to... that's another review). The Breaker I use keeps blowing (even blows the whole house so I probably need to get that fixed) at higher amps so I have keep my amps or time low to avoid that. A pedal that doesn't help me keep it under a certain rating is one more thing for my mind to think about. Lastly, it does modulate amps as designed. So it does its job. But the lowest setting will actually go backwards and give you a little arc start bump. Not sure if that is intentional. Overall, for the price. I am thinking I don't really like it. I am using the Lotos Multiprocess. Perhaps on another machine it would be better.

This works great with my tig welder. Such a better use than trying to start it without the pedal.

This product is very cheaply made and not recommended for anything but hobby welding, even then its “meh”. The pedal construction is abysmal, The spring isnt locked into place by anything so it slips to the side where the tension slacks. Then theres a toggle switch for sending current at the heel of the pedal that gets triggered by just picking up and moving the pedal to another location, thus wasting gas and possibly fusing tungsten to work pieces. Then the amperage knob doesnt limit the current or provide a read out to the amps. Overall what might have been a good investment at one time cost me a customer and budget space for proper equipment.
