No flakes, no itch, definitely has moisturized my locs. So I'm a senior active woman - weight lifts, swim fitness, water sports, long walks...I sweat aLOT. Always had an issue with dry locs no matter what moisturizer, water mist or oil I used. For me, this product was a game changer. Wrote this review after several workouts and swimcap use. I love how soft and healthy my locs feel and look. Added plus, eyebrows shape up beautifully with it as well. I purchased it off of a friend's recommendation and she was absolutely right.

This Loc N Edge Gel is hands-down one of the best I’ve used! It has a smooth texture, a light scent, and it’s super easy to apply. The hold lasts all day without flaking, turning white, or getting crunchy. Works great for slick styles, edges, and loc maintenance. What I really love is the cleaner ingredient list — it includes aloe leaf juice, sea moss, olive oil, castor oil, avocado oil, vitamin E, and vitamin A. It feels nourishing and doesn’t leave my hair dry or brittle like some gels do. If you’re looking for a strong hold gel that keeps your hair in place AND uses more natural ingredients, this is definitely worth trying. I’ll be repurchasing!

Excellent gel. I use this for my edges and I used to use it on my locs. However, I would suggest people to WET YOUR HAIR FIRST before adding the gel to your hair. If not, your edges will be white.

i live a non toxic lifestyle, been looking for a natural long lasting edge control for a while. this one is 10/10, holds extremely well! i see a few reviews about it “flaking” or “going white”, the only time i’ve seen it go white white me is if i’m being to lazy to wash it out my hair and apply more on top the next day for a slick back with a soft brush or edge control brush, that’s the only i’ve see it go white, and i just mist it with a little water to get rid of it. also i don’t always wear a bonnet, some gel be going white or flaky overnight from all the moving about, this one doesn’t. if you’ve used ‘shine n jam’, it’s similar to that but more of a harder firmer consistency and dries up to be more firmer than shine n jam, shine n jam i had to keep in my bag incase my edges started to have a mind their own or if someone hugs me messes them up. loc n doesn’t do that, trust i can leave the tub at home and be fine for the whole day. but i high recommend this this gel, a little goes a long way with this gel, so price wise is worth it, its going to last you longer that other gel you need a slap a whole load on.
