For reference, his skateboard came with 50mm x 27mm wheels with a 99A durometer rating and probably slow bearings. I ordered these FREEDARE 58 mm 82A durometer rated wheels to try to improve his riding experience. When they arrived (he was so excited!), he replaced the wheels himself as it was easy to do since everything came ready to screw on. As shown in the picture, these replacement wheels are larger than the original 50mm wheels, but it fit his skateboard with no problem. TEST RIDE: The new wheels were so much smoother and quieter on the road, plus they coasted much further before stopping. The skateboard had no issues with a larger wheel. He doesn't do any tricks yet, so we don't know how these larger, softer wheels will affect tricks. I also tried his board with the new wheels, and it almost felt like cruising on a long-board. For only $17, these wheels have given the skateboard new life. If you're looking for a smoother ride on your skateboard whether it's a standard skateboard or a longboard, these 58mm replacement wheels are a great upgrade, amazing value, and perfect fit.
