Its a great deadbolt. Removed old schalge and bought same new one. This is a exterior door exposed to salt air. Door works except the cylinder sticks in the open position. Ive removed it sprayed it with silicone lube. Stuck a few more times but seems ok now. Its built tough. Lasts a long time

I had to purchase this Schlage kit due to needing a longer cylinder for the main door handle. As mentioned in the headline, it operates smoothly and feels very sturdy. One of the issues I was trying to overcome was a loose feeling front door due to how the old Kwikset was. This addressed all of the issues. The only complaint would be the slight pinging noise when opening the door and the price. Other than that, this suited my needs and should suit yours just the same.

I used 3 sets to update my new house, and had them all keyed the same. This allows me to use a single key for all 3 locks. Solid, reliable, and highly rated deadbolt locks for superior security.

I can pick a lot of kwickset locks within 15 seconds (yes the same ones most people use for their house) but not this Schlage i have not been able to pick it at all. The only gripe I have is the bottom handle automatically unlocks the door when you pull it. This is convenient for teens and adults but with curious little children running around it could be a danger if you don’t take the time to teach your kids to stay away from the door. 5 stars this is worth the money and peace of mind

This was purchased to replace an exsiting doorset from another manufacturer. The Schlage set is solid and very well made. I highly recommend Schlage lock sets.

We have left hand doors. Had to fiddle with the install a bit to flip the lever but came out great. Much better quality than the lock/lever set that came with the door. Now I want to change all my door hardware. Would definitely buy this product again.

Nice solid lockset. Looks great.I did not find the installation extremely easy, although easier than previous sets I have installed. The instructions for installation were somewhat unclear, although the instructions for changing the handle configuration (which I did not need to do) were very complete.Happy now that it is done. Would definitely purchase again.

The holes for the latch assembly on these stupid units are two different sizes although I could not find anywhere on the directions that stated that. It would have been nice if the manufacturer would have warned the installer that he had to drill two different size holes for the latch assemblies; one was 1 inch and I believe the other was supposed to be 7/8 or three quarters but I cut both mine 1 inch because the there were no god damn directions telling me otherwise. You just destroyed my damn door now I have to buy another one because of your horribly inadequate instructions.
