I use them in my 50 gallon and 75 gallon aquariums. They are fantastic! Just hook them up to an air pump and sit it on top of your substrate and turn the air pump on.When taking it out of the aquarium for cleaning, remove slowly or all of the accumulated feces will escape the filter. I put a bowl under it and move really slowly so as not to disturb the contents.DEFINITELY WORTH THE $!

No way to open the case to clean it out or change the filter media. Seller will not answer questions.
