Gosh, I loved this book! I scarcely delve outside the realm of business or self-development books but I'm so glad I made an exception for this one! These are definitely the most hilarious Christmas letters I have ever read! They're so good, I can't believe such incredible letters exist!In each of 20 Christmas letters, the Fox family takes you on a journey through the prior year. As you will soon discover, the last 20 years are filled with touching moments of humor, awe, and, occasionally, sadness. The stories will have you gasp, questioning how on Earth so much can happen to just one family! There are so many examples I want to share but am holding back to avoid giving away the incredible stories!You will raise your eyebrows in surprise, grasp the book in anticipation, and let out several heartfelt belly laughs. You'll also enjoy discovering the amazing and entertaining relationship dynamics Maru and Bill Fox share with one another, their children, pets, and other family members.I enjoyed checking out the pictures at the beginning of each chapter too! They were funny and built curiosity for what the year ahead held. Kudos to the artist, Tony Iatridis, for doing such a remarkable job with the artistry and for keeping the drawings consistent with the utterly hilarious spirit of the book.I quickly found that I couldn’t put the book down as I was pulled to find out what would happen next. However, the book was so enjoyable that I forced myself to spread out the reading over a few days to enjoy several evenings of entertainment before going to sleep.Dear Fox family, please create a mailing list and add me for your Christmas letters!!

2020 has been a weird year and I was craving something to read that was both nostalgic for the holidays, and a lighter read. Not a lot of things to laugh about these days but this book did the trick. It was nice to escape to a "simpler time" when I could laugh at (and with) a family that puts mine, with all its adventures and calamities to shame. Pick it up and read for a good laugh. I hope there will be a follow-up!

The Fox family Christmas letters are the ones we have always dreamed of getting. They are filled with the good, bad and the ugly of everyday life with humor, resilience and love. It’s refreshing to know that everyone isn’t a size 0 who travels the world and lives in a world of butterflies and rainbows. You will fall in love with the Fox family as they navigate life’s misadventures and calamities. It is the laugh we all needed this year.

I wish we would get more Christmas Letters like the Fox Family send. They are so down to earth and funny and really show the ups and downs that we all go through each year. Bill and Maru have a great way of telling their stories and make you laugh out loud. It doesn't have to be Christmastime to have a good laugh!

I LOVED every page of this book! There is NO SUCH thing as oversharing in a Christmas letter and after reading these letters to friends and family you will understand:) WHO knew SOOO much could happen to one family? The yearly updates are shared with incredible warmth, compassion, vulnerability AND HUMOR!A GREAT gift to give to anyone and everyone.

Finished the book in one day because I could not put it down. My stomach hurts now because I laughed so much. This is slapstick comedy at it best, but when you realize that all these stories are true, it makes it even funnier. Very cleverly written. Highly recommended for a good laugh.

A friend of mine sent me this as a gift. She said it would make me laugh abs boy was she right! What a fun and funny family. I highly recommend this if you just need a light read and a lot of laughs!

Read this book in one sitting, and laughed out loud throughout. The author's recap of their adventures and misadventures is incredibly poignant and hilarious. I highly recommend Another Interesting Year for anyone looking for a well written and funny escape!

Each letter is written in a way that makes you feel like another Fox member, living with them all the adventures and misfortunes of the family over the years!Once I started, I could not put the book down! I look forward to see the next letter at the end of 2021.
