WOW...I have had two of these for a year+ and they have always been sensitive at times, and sometimes they just fall apart, literally, into 6-pieces. But I have always been able to realign the four rings with the red dots and then they are ok for 2- months, 3 months - then bam! THAT IS WHY I KEPT THEM ALTHOUGH THEY ARE NOT REALLY RELIABLE Because I could fix them when needed and they are the only device I found to fit my needs. Last week one fell apart and I have not been able to realign it. TODAY...see photo...the one on my armoire will not open. I have tried and tried. So...I tried to take off the knob. NOPE The door hinges, NOPE...So I took the back off of my armoire in order to unscrew the knob which had eluded me. NOPE I cannot access the back of the screw from there. ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH It worked great for a while but had glitches that I could fix... The typical --- It works great product...Until it does not. DO NOT BUY THESE...I know they work for situations that are hard to take care of. I am frustrated, tired, and a little bit angry. A refund would be nice but will not be enough to salve my aggravation and all the time I have spent working on them. OF COURSE...They NEVER refund due to a review as you know and there product apparently usually last beyond the AMAZON return date. SO CONVENIENT... Wouldn't be better to please the customer and sell more and more?

Total junk. The loop is a very small diameter metal....it is not remotely heavy duty as the description says. It could easily be cut with bolt cutters, and quite likely it could be cut with heavy duty wire cutters. It is fine for low security jobs, like a locker in gym, but to trust anything valuable to this is pure foolisness...I dont get the other reviews.....sure, it may lock and unlock, but it is a low security device. Far too easy to cut it. And, as others point out.....no instructions for hkw to set the combo.....are you listening Amazon? This is a true POS that is not described accurately, and the lack of instructions is not acceptable. I am sending it back. Dont waste your money

Very sturdy. Works well and easy to operate. Used as a cabinet lock.

I am using this lock to keep the doors of my French door fridge locked because I have a teenager who likes to raid the fridge in the middle of the night. For that it works great and is sturdy, I just would probably not use it to lock a bike unless I use it as complement to a main and more sturdy lock, you know, as extra insurance.

Came apart after a few years

Instructions were very clear and understandable. Programs/adjusts to custom lock digits easily. Perfect for my outdoor barn door window shutter application. Reviews above discuss instructions and difficulty understanding how to use, maybe things have changed over time but not my issue at all. Also review complains about not being secure enough; it's descriptions says what it's used for and works perfectly. Doesn't say use for front gate at Fort Knox. I highly recommend this product. Ordering 7 more for the rest of the windows. It will be very nice having all the same combinations for the hunting lodge windows.

Easy to set your combination. This was perfect for a storage shed with its longer shank.

This is a piece of crap. I used it outdoors to fasten a gate. This morning it fell apart. The end of the lock cylinder fell off, then so did the rings with the numbers. Unfixable. I probably used the combination a dozen times, if that. I’ve not bought anything from Amazon over the years that was worse than this product.

Ce cadenas est sur notre boîte aux lettres depuis 1 mois et demi, il n’a pas bougé. Très utile pour recevoir des colis (notamment Amazon en communiquant le code sur son espace personnel). Facile d’utilisation même sans mode d’emploi (aucun livreur n’a eu de problème à l’ouvrir et le reverouiller).
