These trouser are on the thin side but in a hot kitchen that isn't a issue at all the cargo pockets are well placed.I wouldn't wear them to work until you've washed them first as it softens up the material immensely.All in all very happy with them

Ordered XLThe waistband un-stretched measures just 22cm across. The elastic is super strong, meaning when stretched out they cut in. Not fit for use.

Could be a little more stretch in ths waist but the pockets are great
