Quick shipping especially crossing ocean to Hawaii. Plants were well packaged. Very healthy upon arrival. Very pleased with the product. Made my pleco very happy that there is more hiding space for her. Would buy again and will definitely recommend to others.

Arrived ahead of time. Was packaged in a small box, and the hair grass was over a foot tall, pretty green foliage, nothing dead on it. The entire plant was double bagged. Came in it's own pot for an aquarium lots of roots, very healthy. I rinsed it off and removed the pot and planted it into my 40 gallon breeder tank. The plant was taller than my aquarium is deep which caused it to bend gracefully along the top of the water which is what I was hoping for. It looks beautiful and my fish and baby fish love it.

Definitely good value, but a royal pain to pull apart (I know, I know... taking care of fish is about patience). The plants are great. You can basically pull them apart. I bought two of them and covered 15 inches of the back of an aquarium. They are very, very tall - which is perfect for my set up, but might be too tall for other tanks. I will say that they are a major pain in the *%$# to get out of the original packaging. First, they put them into a small plastic 'basket' and the roots grow through and around it, meaning you have to cut the friggin' thing off if you don't want to rip off too many roots. Then, they put this spongey, clothe-like substance that the roots have grown around - I believe to keep them moist when shipped. This stuff is brutally tough to get out of the roots. So they get an A+ for value and the plants look good. Mission accomplished there. But they have to be able to find some different packaging approaches for this grass. Way too hard to prep for the tank.

They came fast & packaged very well! Inspected closely for any hitchhikers. They were beautiful!! Rinsed them well before putting them in my tank. A week later, had black algae on plants, especially on the hairgrass & green algae all over!! Never had black algae before or this much of a problem with green algae!!! Removed as much of the black algae off the plants, lost a lot of them, 50% water change, and using AlgaeFix as directed. 20% water change a week later & cleaned off green algae & more black algae from plants. Removed dead & dying leaves!! Another week went by, more black & green algae!!! My aquarium was very healthy & stable prior the the hairgrass!!! Thank goodness the fish are still ok!! My plants are dwindling & continue to die off. I’m hopeful that as I prune the dead & dying leaves they’ll come back. The hairgrass, well, I have 2 pitiful thin, no longer bushy plants out of the 5 I bought!!! Hence 2 stars!! So I just bought a UV light to help control the algae problem!!! The hairgrass looks SOOOO great when I first placed them in the tank!! I hope I can salvage my plants & tank without spending any more money 💰😩

As a new buyer to live plants I am very excited with the four plants I received. I wasnt concerned at all with the height just that that came healthy and well nourished. Although I was very impressed by the height. If my tank was filled all the way up the plants would reach over 16 + inches. I also received (plus three) baby grass I seperated from the bigger ones. The grass came very green and healthy (baby ones weren't expected and are a little yellow)but hey I aint hating the more Nothing a little tlc cant fix. I cutt the black pots off of them (not sure if its recommend although i dont see what it will hurt) and I inspected it for bugs or anything I wouldn't like in my tank, as well as tearing the material the roots grew to see if there was anything hanging out in that. (Because I can't stand water bugs ick) Didnt see anything and tell you I got hawk eyes so I would've seen anything that may have wanted to get in my tank. That was definitely my number one worry and didnt have any problems with that so hi five Aquarium Plants! Great job! My tetras/guppys AND betta has been alot more active as well, when he's not relaxing in his leaf hammock he's swimming around the hair grass or chilling on the ones that are bent over underwater. Over all I think what I received was perfect and more. Thank you Aquarium plants!

Best mail order plants I have ever received. Setting up a new 90 gallon tank and bought 4 different packaged of plants. All arrived in great/healthy condition. Put in quarantine tank and inspected for pests, none found. Planted in New tank, looking and doing good. Would/will buy again on my next tank.

The hairgrass arrived mostly dead and the box looked like it was ran over by a truck . My post office manager called me this morning to have me come in to look at the shredded box and to identify what was in the package because it was a big rotted mess . the leaves were all brown and jell like and the roots was dry and crumbled on touch. Update : 2/2/2017 After I contacted the seller and got a replacement plants ( good people at that co. BTW) the plants are really slow growing and tend to wilt away to brown mush then regrow from the roots up . But in the end im satisfied and just this past week got a runner from one of the plants with a "daughter" plant growing .

I waited to review to make sure the aquarium grass didn’t die or have snails. It’s been an easy, great addition to my 10 gallon aquarium. I bought 3 plants. They arrived perfectly fine, green, pristine and in good condition. I rinsed them off and just put the little pot in my tank. I used some small river rocks on top of the pot to anchor them down. The grasses are green and alive three months later. They have even spread out of the pot into the surrounding gravel. No snails. If I would have known how easy live plants are in aquariums I never would have spend all that money on plastic crap! This was cheaper and just as easy. My goldfish love it and I’m happy their in a more natural environment that has things growing and changing.

I planted this grass in two of my aquariums. One plant was eaten by one of my enormous snails and the others died when the water in this particular aquarium got cloudy for some reason. I am usually lucky with aquarium plants and have four aquariums filled with plants. The plants I ordered were healthy and vibrant, undamaged and arrived quickly.
