Searched for quite some time until I finally came across the device I needed to purchase in order to complete my project. A momentary switch by name but I really had no idea at the time. All I knew was that I needed to have my router table and shop-vac running in unison, triggered by depressing the footswitch. Removing your foot from the pedal instantly shuts off the power supply to both the power tools giving me complete control. I’ve added a short video to explain it better than I can write it. The mxuteuk 10A 250VAC non-slip plastic foot pedal isn’t the most robust pedal on the market, not by a long chalk, but given the short periods of time that I use those power tools, this switch is more than up to anything I’ll ever put it through. I’ve I had any gripe about this footswitch is that I would have preferred a much longer power cable straight out of the box. As it transpires I got the electrician friend who connected it up for me to double its length. In summary, I wouldn’t imagine this particular footswitch would withstand the rigours of a shop floor machinist 10 hours a day, but as I said earlier, it’s plenty good enough for my small workshop where it will be lightly used and for that purpose I highly recommend it.

Used for foot control of battery spot welder. Perfect for task.

Great bit of kit, lead was miles too short but extended it. Could do with being 1.5mtrs but works really well. Instructions aren’t very clear on how to wire it in but I watched a video on YouTube which did it.

Nice compact switch with option of NO or NC contacts. Only critique is that cable is only 0.5 mm2 and not comparable to the 10A rating of the switch contacts.

Returned as not compatible

I glued it to a wooden board to make it heavier and I use it to control a log splitter. It works brilliantly

This fitted perfect in my scroll saw !

Bought to switch power tool and vacuum. Says it’s 10 amp but wires very thin wouldn’t like to use it for any more than a light bulb. Return in progress

Kunststoff bricht schnell. Würde lieber einen aus Metall nehmen

Funziona perfettamente, è sufficientemente robusto e ha un deciso click che fa capire che è stao correttamente premuto. Lo ho usato per realizzare un PTT wireless per un ricetrasmettitore HF (Yaesu FT2000), usando un modulo radiocomando a 433 MHz. Non c'è spazio nel pedale per inserire radiocomando e relativa batteria, ho risolto con un piccolo contenitore esterno, nel quale ho fatto entrare il cavo a 3 fili (accorciato) del pedale.
