So glad I got this!! The TS20 (medium size of the three electric stoves) is super cute, the fake flames look very similar to a gas stove, creating a very cozy atmosphere, and it puts out a good amount of heat. My pets have been fighting over who gets to sit in front of the heater, and they pout when I turn it off at night. Great if you're renting or in an apartment and long for the look and feel of a fireplace or gas stove, and if you're ever lucky enough to move into a place with a fireplace this is the perfect small size for a bedroom. Other reviewers said the legs were hard to put on...yeah, sort of, it takes a few good firm wrenching turns to get the screws started and it's a bit cramped, I didn't bother with the center screws, but it's worth the slightly annoying 5 minutes for assembly.

I've owned this little electric fireplace for a year now and I LOVE IT! I purchased the 25" Freestanding Stove to put in our en suite master bath for 1.) An extra heat source on those super cold mornings and 2.) Because of the ambiance that it brings to the space! I read a ton of reviews and watched videos to see the flame in action before picking one and and very happy with my purchase. I love that the unit does not get hot anywhere except the bottom where it says "caution hot" so we can safely use it around our pets and use the top of it for some extra storage of a plant or tissues in the bathroom. I love that it comes with a remote. I've never had an issue with it and only use the remote to turn it on and off. If you lose your remote, don't fret! There are buttons just inside the door to turn it on and adjust the settings. There are different heat settings available: you can adjust the temp as needed, you can set it on a timer and you can even adjust the brightness of the flame. It plugs into a standard outlet easy peasy, no special wiring needed. It arrived with only its legs needing to be attached. It was very easy to assemble and move around as needed. (It's quite light!) I don't have any negative points about this fireplace and would 110% recommend it to a friend!

Bought this when the upstairs HVAC died mid-December and had to wait longer than hoped for service due to the holidays so bought this to supplement the little heat that rose from the main floor until the main system could be fixed. It worked great, right out of the box and the fireplace design is a bit more attractive than the usual portable heater look. It is small, but put out enough heat for the ~500 sqft area upstairs. Only two very minor issues: 1) a small piece of plastic had broken off the door but since it was on the bottom side, hidden, and we we needed the heater right away, I didn't bother returning it. 2) I didn't realize at purchase that the heat comes out from below the main part of the design so it looks a little less sleek than if it came from the "flames" (the picture is pretty accurate - I just didn't realize the implication). The upside is that the main part of the heater stays plenty cool to the touch rather than heating up so I think the functionality of it definitely outweighs the slight detraction from the aesthetic. We have moved the heater down to the basement now and the dogs love it. It is very conveniently sized and fits easily in small spots, out the way.

11/30/2020 Update - Amazon let me exchange this with a new one and I've had zero issues so far. It actually supplies a lot of heat. I prefer using it over the gas heat in my apartment because I have no control over the gas heater - it's either on or off and gets too stuff to use for more than 30-45 minutes. I also dig the cozy look of the fire - I've gotten a lot of compliments on it! I just had this delivered today - and it looks great! Except...no heat will blow out. I've contacted the manufacturer, so hopefully I will get some resolution (otherwise I will exchange - I read the reviews and it seems like most people have had no issues). One thing that sucks is you can only contact the manufacturer through email - try as I might, I could not find a phone number and they had no chat box. I'm hoping they reply to my message at all. There are certain things you must do to make sure it works - but it's still failing for me. I've reset by unplugging with the switch off, I've made sure it's the only appliance on the outlet, and the outlet I'm using meets all the requirements. I thought I felt it blow hot air when i first turned it on - but since then, nada.

I live in a little trailer home that is 12'x55', The room i heat is about 10' wide by 15' long, and around 6' high (so around 900 total heating space not including objects). it's just been freshly insulated. It does a GREAT job keeping my living space above 50 degrees when it's 28 degrees outside, but it can't break 62 (the lowest cutoff temperature) so it will definitely need some kind of complimentary heating element to assist it in keeping a non-sweater temperature in a room bigger than the above range. I have a small fan assisted heater rated at 1500watts in my bedroom that i got for 50 bucks at home depot that runs in unison with this one, and that helps heat the entire trailer. It's definitely a life saver, and does a great job keeping a living temperature. Just keep in mind it's not a permanent solution if you're not using it specifically for a localized heating unit :)

I, initially, loved this fireplace space heater. I loved it so much that I bought a replacement when my first one (which was a gift) died. I’ve had this one for 3 years and now the button to turn the “flame” effect on/off will not turn off. Mind you, I live in S. Fl so I don’t use it very often. I would maybe be more understanding if I used it all the time for 3 years. That is not the case & as I said, this is the second one I’ve had that has died or had some kind of issue. Do not buy this unless you want to replace it after 3 years (of light use) or less! I will be replacing this with a completely different brand.

I actually bought this little fireplace to use outdoors while camping in October. There was a burn ban and the site had electrical power. It was just enough heat sitting near it to keep me comfortable sitting outdoors at night as I like to do. The temperature was in the 40s at night. I bought this instead of a smaller one because it said it was radiant heat and could warm a 1000 sq ft room. I figured that would be enough heat output to help in the outdoors even though its not designed for that (as opposed to a smaller or a little bit cheaper one). It worked perfect and the little glowing fake fire added some degree of ambiance. All you have to do is put the legs on,, which was easy. Very happy with this. I imagine it would work outstanding in a room

Update: 12/20: Company support has been nothing short of TERRIFIC. We emailed in video with comments and they responded in less than a day. With a bit more information they kindly gave us a refund that should hit within 3-5 days. Not their fault - we just received a faulty piece. I would purchase from them again solely bc of their Support Team! Note: I have emailed company video of fireplace and waiting for response. Received 3 days ago to replace one we had purchased at Home Depot 8 years ago that was fabulous. Easy to assemble. looks nice. Set temperature to 78. Room is 340 sq ft with high ceilings. 1) It is so NOISEY. The fan is unbelievably LOUD. I sent video to company to see if this is right. 2) We are now on day 4 and not sure it warms up the room. IF you stand in front of it, yes you feel the heat but sitting a few feet away nothing.

I like the fact that it has a built in thermostat and the 4 legs are made of steel not plastic. Had no trouble whatsoever installing them. After 20 minutes of use, the cord only feels a very little warm and the plug maintains normal temperature. I recommend using a designated outlet, if available a 20 Amp 115-120 volt circuit. If not available, plug into a designated 15 amp 115-120 volt circuit and check from time to time for outlet temperature. Most new homes come equipped with 20 amp outlets.

Works perfectly for our small cottage. Beautiful colors in summer and very acceptable heat in winter. A bit noisy, but really not a deal breaker for us, as it's not that bad at all. Remote control very easy to perate and very responsive. Overall very pleased.
