Great quality
I just used this zester for the first time this past week and it worked very well. It fits my small hand and it is very sharp, zesting the oranges I was working on with ease. I found I needed to pay attention because it was so sharp it could easily pass through the zest and down to the pith. Overall a great addition to my kitchen tools.

Didn't Know How Much I Needed It
I have apparently been suffering in silence all these years using my cheese grater and high-end potato peeler as a zester. Wow, what a game changer. Love this thing. It was exactly what I needed to effectively and easily grate and zest lemons. Just wow. Every kitchen should have one. Highly recommend.

If you love Old Fashions then get this
This citrus peeler and zester tool is a must-have for any home bartender or chef. The specially designed channel knife makes it easy to peel citrus fruits, while the ultra-sharp zester holes are perfect for creating citrus zest and garnishes. The non-slip grip of the soft-touch handle provides a comfortable and secure grip, and the hanging loop is designed for easy storage. This tool is durable and easy to clean, and it is dishwasher safe for added convenience. I used this tool to make Old Fashions for my Christmas party, and it was a big hit. The ultra-sharp zester holes made it easy to zest the citrus, and the specially designed channel knife made it easy to peel the fruit. The tool is also quiet and easy to use, making it perfect for entertaining guests. Overall, I would highly recommend this tool to anyone looking for a durable, high-quality, and versatile option for their kitchen or bar.

Takes a fair amount of skill & practice.
I bought this to make lemon & orange twists for cocktails. Alas, it takes a lot of practice to master the channel tool (something I have been unable to accomplish thus far). Nothing comes out uniform in thickness or width; and lengthwise mine end up too short to be useful every time. I have no doubt that in the hands of a skilled kitchenista this is a really slick tool, but thus far for me it has been an exercise in frustration and disappointment. Maybe you'll have the knack for it right out of the box; but to be safe, my advice is to be prepared to put in a fair amount of practice time if you're going to purchase this tool. There are no instructions/tips included in the box either. Now having said that, I think the quality of manufacturing is pretty darn good, and I like the fat handle (I wear a men's XL glove), and also the texture. Even though I haven't mastered the channel tool, I still feel like the blade is adequately sharp for the task; and I tend to agree with the product description regarding safety and ease of use due to the channel tool being inline with the handle (as opposed to perpendicular to it). So it's a good tool to have in the drawer. [For the record, I've only attempted to use the channel tool thus far. I find it difficult to believe anyone--including me--could screw up the zester, though.]

It works well!
What a niche tool. I am making a Mediterranean Olive Mix like you can buy at Whole Foods. This marinade has cranberries, mustard seeds and orange rind in a vinegary liquid. Sounds strange, but tastes sooo good. But, I need the outer rind of an orange, without the bitter pith, for this recipe. I tried peeling the orange and then scraping the pith off with a manual cheese grater. It worked, but was time consuming, so I went online and found this zester. The handle fits well in the hand, much like the old style oyster knives did. Both have/had a bulbous handle, good for close work. This zester works very well at peeling a long swath of orange rind about a quarter inch wide. But, for me, there was still a little more pith left on the peel than I needed. I see the orange peel being used around the glass rim of an alcoholic beverage, and for that purpose it may be a perfect tool. For the finer zester strips, this tool works great.

Better than MicroPlane (at least for me).
Over-engineered for what it does...but much nicer than microplaning your citrus. This brings only the oil bearing rind, not the pith, to your dishes. Strands can be as long as your fruit, or as short as you want. Resulting strands are perfect for adding to cooking, or adding as a garnish after your dish is finished. Easy to use and instinctive.

That is sharp and easy to use.
Does a great job peeling the fruit so your bar drinks look elegant.

Useful tool.
I use this all the time. One part gives you long, pith-free peels for a a perfect vesper martini; the other part is a traditional zester for adding a subtle lemon flavor to baked goods and frittatas. Also the bright yellow color is cute.

No more knuckle skin in my lemon baked goods. Much better and easier to use than a cheese grater. Allows you to zest around any bad parts of the peel. Makes long skinny strips of zest that I then chop finely with a knife a cutting board. A million times easier to clean than a grater.

Excellent tool, lost my zester and trying to find a good replacement was difficult. This one is excellent good solid blade and zests fruit with ease. A bit of a chunky handle which probably helps.
