Nite Ize Curvyman Cord Supervisor Earbud Organizer, Headphone Cord Wrap - Compact, Durable, and Lightweight, White

This cord supervisor is such a nifty little gadget. Both my husband and myself use MP3 players a lot and were constantly getting the ear plug cords tangled into a mess when not in use. I discovered this little fella while looking for a solution to the problem. I was tired of seeing my husband fight his ear plugs every time he used them, untangling them and straightening them out. I ordered two and they've been in constant use upon receiving them. The cords are easy to secure through the little round holes and after winding both earpiece lines around and around the body of the "man", they can be secured on the bottom hole. This is made of soft silicone so working with it is quite easy. I just leave my ear buds attached to this and the other end plugged into the MP3 player, altogether and easy to find. No tangle, no knots, no fuss.

Bought the Curvyman because I needed a way to keep my wired headphones under control for work. Balling them up and tossing them in a drawer makes using them again a pain since you have to untangle them. If you are running late to dial into a conference call, you know what I mean. I've boughten Nite Ize products before and know they fit the bill for need so I gave the Curvyman a try. The process works great, there are 2 hiccups for me though. 1, the plastic polymer or whatever the material is, is a bit too stiff to lock in the ends of the wires constantly. Also, if you used inline mic headphones, the mic section is longer than the Curvyman and make the last few turns a bit awkward.

I like this cord organizer because it is super cheap and well made. It's a thick and durable feeling rubber material (possibly silicone) and it's small and can easily be clipped to a lanyard or something like that. I mainly use them for IEMs because having a lot of extra cord hanging down can make them fall out of your ear or increase micro-phonics. For those who don't know, micro-phonics is that annoying brushing sound you hear in your eardrums while wearing in ear headphones because the wire is picking up vibrations from everything it hits or slides against and that sound goes into your eardrum. It's the one main drawback of IEMs. I find that using something like this to reduce the length of your cables can keep them from sliding around and rubbing things as much. Also I really like the neat organized look I get when using them. Most important of all, I no longer snag my headphone or IEM cables on things. That's how most headphones are ruined.

I am THRILLED with the Curvyman for my Moshi earphones! The wires are no longer continuously in a tangled mess, the cords are no longer all over catching on things as I'm working out AND there is no longer a fear of crimping the cord which could break the wires internally. I highly recommend the Curvyman for wrapping all sorts of smaller cords. They would work well for carrying a cell phone charger (by keeping the cord wrapped up securely) and for those of us who use TENS for our various maladies - you know those cords that are continuously dangling everywhere. I bought two initially and now realize I probably should have a few more. Designed in the USA, manufactured in China.

What I like about this thing is that it is cheap, it has a little hook (which I promptly took off), it does its job of holding the headphones wrapped up. What I don't like about it is that it is a hassle to wind and unwind the cord onto this product, it is a whole annoying process that becomes pretty tedious if you need to do it often. Also a big issue is that when you unwind the headphones, the cable is very twisted and you have you straighten it out or else it doesn't lay flat. I ended up not using this product after a few weeks. It became too much of a chore. I need to wind and unwind my cables constantly, so this product was not for me. It is great if you do it infrequently, or if you mainly use it to store your headphones or travel with. I instead figured out a cleaver wrapping technique to wrap the headphones onto themselves without making knots, I then later bought a different winder that I am very happy with. In CONCLUSION, if you only need to wind and unwind your headphones once in a while or want to get this thing to store your cords, its great for that. However, if you will be using it multiple times a day, then you are better off skipping this product and looking somewhere else.

since i am deployed i am constantly wrapping my headphones around my ipod or packing them in my backpack and trying to keep them organized. this thing is cheap and works amazing. i have the newest apple earbud headphones with a mic and they work perfectly with this. i also have some beats over the ear headphones and i use this to wrap the extra cable in as well. cheap, sturdy and reliable with no tangles. EDIT: very annoying when wrapping the newer apple headphones with the mic and volume control. dont buy if you have those or youll spend forever trying to get it to wrap around the right way... other than that still a great product just not for those headphones

I made something similar to this out of cardboard and craft tape. This works a lot better. My version went to the garbage can. The material is fairly think (about 1/8"). It's flexible, but very resistant to bending, at lest when new. The ear buds cord doesn't get bent around the edges unless you really try to wrap it tight. I've removed the clip because I never walk around with ear buds on. The clip worked well when I tried it out on my jacket. Not very handy if you need to use the front zipper as the picture shows, but I used a side pocket zipper and that worked well. I got the black one (cheapest after shipping).

Great handy product! I use it for my headphones that travel in my purse every day. I love that it has a hook on both ends of the piece for both ends of the cord. Often I only unravel the headphones part way, hooking it back in where I stopped at, and it's great for shortening the long cord when not as much length is needed. I did remove the hanging clip that came on the piece- It's not needed for my use, and would have just caused problems. It was easy to remove. I would recommend this product to anyone needing to contain cords! Might not be big enough for a 3' phone charging cable, but is perfect size for headphones.

Great little thing - it makes it easy to keep your wires tidy and accessible. It's quite small so more suited to thinner cables, such as in-ear headphones, rather than, for example, MP3 connectors. Bit expensive for what it is, but it works, so I'm happy.

Love these. Have multiple devices with different types of cables so use these to organize my charging cables in my vehicles and travel bags. Makes them easy to find and ensures they’re not tangled when you need them. Have probably 5 myself and have bought some for other people too!
