Berghaus Freeflow 30 Rucsac - Castlerock/Volcano, ONESZ

I bought one of the first Freeflow rucsacs many years ago. The only problem i had with it was that at 20l it was a bit small. When I needed a new one I looked for a larger model and found this on Amazon after being unsuccessful at my local outdoor stores. The 30l size meets my needs for a daypack and I particularly like the back vent which keeps me cool on hot days and the in-built rain hood. The price was reasonable too. I'm not sure how long this range will remain available as Berghaus seem to be promoting other ranges that look to me to be either poorer quality or more expensive. I've delayed writing a review to ensure there were no problems with durability and I'm pleased to say it has lasted well. Get one while you can!!

First proper outing yesterday and it coped brilliantly. Went mountain biking and hardly even noticed I was wearing it. Plenty of room, and I wasn't even being particularly efficient with my packing. Loads of adjustment to the straps to get the weight comfy on your back. Rain cover worked well too. The black fabric seemed to have a small level of weatherproofing, as the rain was beading on it, but the pull out cover did an excellent job once the rain came down harder. Can't wait for my next outing with it!

Love it. I ordered it especially for the National 3 peaks Challenge at the start of September. It was comfortable, didn't rub around the armpits and I could fit enough gear in it per climb. It comes with a waterproof cover although I didn't have time to put it on ... and it kept my stuff pretty much dry. Can for a hydration pack into it which worked well . Overall a great bag and highly recommend.

Well made and comfortable. The only thing I think it’s missing is a strap/straps on the outside (to attach/hold a coat for example). I’m very happy with it though.

When comparing to more standard 30L Berghaus bags it's got a great system to keep bag away from one's back. However, as the bag's primary purpose is to carry stuff much less impressed as the curved back means it's not so easy to place larger items in and then gain access to bottom of bag, sent bag back as prefer the space inside the bag to be less restrictive over what can be easily placed in it and easily accessed.

Unable to comment on durability as only just got it. However, previous Berghaus backpack had for many years and is still going strong. Excellent fit when wearing, comfortable. Wanted a backpack for everyday, but good if running or cycling which is why it was important that it had rain over and padded waist, but also needed separate compartments. Great product.

I was sold to Berghaus Freeflow rucksacs many years ago but recently lost my original one.This new one is even better and is close to perfection, although I still miss the old style side pockets.The Freeflow back is improved and barely touches your back now - sort of magic!Quality seem excellent as usual.

Used this to go wild camping on a 22km walk. Was very comfortable and fit everything I needed including a sleeping bag strapped on, clothes, water bladder and food! I think the gap between your back really helps with comfort and keeping you cool.

Sac de randonnée léger prévu pour une journée (capacité de 30 l). La transpiration dans le dos est bien minimisée par sa conception. Les 2 pochettes latérales permettent d'avoir un accès rapide et facile. Le filet dans le dos et les attaches bâtons sont un plus. Bon maintien lors des déplacements. Je le recommande sans hésiter
