It comes with the paint cups. It's big enough to fit the paint cups in just one of the bins, along with 2 small boxes of crayons.. The bins are roomy enough for craft items. Yarn is t big for the bins. **Q: Is this for younger kids, or could it wokrk for a 12 year old?** A: I've sat at it with my kids so I suspect a 12 year old would be fine at it too! **Q: How large is this table? I have a 2 yo, 4 yo and 8 yo. Will this be too small for my 8 yo?** A: Nope! I have a 2, 6 and 11 year old. We have all sat at it including myself. **Q: What age is this table appropriate for?** A: I purchased this table for a two year old.
