It was very easy to put together. Although the large male cat hooked his claw and pulled it over.

Cats love this. I have other scratching posts that they rarely use, but there is something special about this one

This is probably the most successful cat-related purchase I’ve ever made. Simon LOVES this cactus so much that I ended up buying him a second one!Bought the first one in early January 2021 and he’s played with it literally every single day since then. Now, in May ‘21, the first one is mostly destroyed, but given how enthusiastically he plays, I’m honestly impressed it lasted this long! I’m not even mad that it’s falling apart because we got SO much play time and value out of this little thing. He gets bored easily but never got bored of this! It’s also really cute and goes great with the vibe of our home!His favorite thing is to sit upright with his paws resting on the cactus and wait for us to throw toys at him, which is so frickin’ adorable. Sometimes he refuses to play with his toys unless they are in the vicinity of the cactus!Other ways we play with the cactus:- place a toy mouse on top so he can knock it down- dangle a string around the top of it, he goes crazy for that- he loves to lie on his side and bunny-kick the base- we put catnip on the top and he tries to climb it like a tree 😂Pros:- sturdy base, surprisingly difficult to topple over. even stays upright when he manages to climb on top! (The only times he’s managed to knock it over is when he runs at it from the other side of the house and leap-attacks it with all that momentum)- he loves how the top carpet-like part feels on his claws- the “arms” of the cactus are super soft and plushy, he loves to bite them and bat at them- easy to assemble- aesthetically pleasing- very light and portable, easy to move around the house as needed- holds up relatively well to a highly destructive/enthusiastic play style. and even though the outer fabric and sisal eventually started to come apart, the actual structure is still completely solid and never had any issues- since the rope section is natural sisal I’m not as concerned about him incidentally ingesting some of the frayed bits- affordable! best quality at this price point!!! such a good deal!- hours of fun!!!!Cons:None! As I said before, even though it eventually started to come apart, it was after 4-5 months of daily heavy use by a VERY enthusiastic cat!

It’s good quality but not sturdy at all. You have to place it against the wall to stabilize it.

The media could not be loaded.  Arrived a day early and our cat loves it. Easy to assemble and seems reasonably sturdy. For reference size, the cat in the video weights about 9 pounds. (Fish not included)

This product looks great and my cats love it but the rope around it is very thin and you can easily see the cardboard underneath it’s not very durable. I barely had it a month and already it looks rough.

What I love:1. So cute! This would look good in literally any home.2. Affordable and I think worth the price. (Especially since it was $10 off).3. The cat loves it and uses it. Like instantly, as soon as I showed her she started scratching. I honestly haven't seen her scratch anything else since we got this, minus a wooden easel, but she can't wreck that so whatever, she stopped scratching my ottomans. It was actually very shocking how well she took to it, considering she was a tiny stray kitten when. I found her over 2 months ago.What I hate:1. My children. Ok just kidding, I love them. I do hate though that they are little terrors who listen about as well as a goldfish, and broke the scratching post a few weeks after we got it. My fault though, I only told them 500 times to leave the scratching post alone, probably should've told them another 1000 times.The base of the post is wooden, the post itself is cardboard, stapled to a plastic cap that gets screwed onto the base. And then the cactus part at the end is essentially a cactus stuffed toy. I guess you can repurpose the post by cutting the cactus off, gluing googly eyes to it, and regifting it to a child as a snuggly companion.I'd recommend this for smaller cats (it's not very tall) and people who will not need to say "leave the scratching post alone" 50 times a day.

I assembled it the day I received it, and I sprayed a bit of catnip on it. My cats have been using it ever since. One of them even loves to sleep on the base. It slides a bit on the floor, but It does not tip over easily, because the base is quite wide and allows the cat to stand on it while scratching. There are a few design flaws as mentioned by other customers, like the carpet not covering completely the bare space at the top and at the bottom of the pole, but it's barely noticeable. My cats don't care, and I don't see it either from a distance. This scratching post looks very nice in my living room. I may even buy the larger one too!

We have two 1 year old Cats and they love using the scratching post. We love it because green matches everything. It is like having a plant in my living room. Love the design and will definitely buy again when this one is done. Great product!

Very cute, I like the colour and the style. Not super sturdy, I needed to tuck part of the base under something heavy so it wouldn’t fall over when my cats scratched it. The little fuzzy ball on a string came off after one day. Would recommend though, they started scratching it immediately and seem to be pretty obsessed with scratching at it.

Very easy to assemble my cat loves it! He's a very big boy and hes a long cat so we will see how long it will last because he's very rough with it but it's super cute and he loves it so great purchase!
