Solinco Hyper-G Soft Tennis String Set

I keep going back to this string over and over until I decide to try something els then I go back to it again. There’s no such thing as the perfect string but I want to say this string does a little bit of everything well. It’s comfortable but predictable. Great access to spin when I need it. Good on the baseline and the net. I think lacks on serve until you can work around it. You have to find the sweet spot with these strings. You need to try different gauges and tensions until you find the right one. It’s also good to have a few different tensions in your bag depending on the day. I think it’s good for an all around player who likes to do a bit of everything. Pros: good for a little bit of everything. Cons: lacks in serve and some control.

I use size 17 on Babolat Pure Drive racquet which is very stiff. These strings makes the racquet bit more arm friendly because of soft feel. I get good power and control as with any Solinco Hyper-G series. I used Hyper-G regular one before, so transitioning to Soft version was seamless. These will be my new go-to strings. Happy with the purchase. 53lb on Pure Drive '21.

These strings are my favorites. Sure I've played with other great polyester strings, but these are inexpensive and when used with nylon Dunlap S-gut in the crosses...viola...nice power and control. I've used this string combination for about three months and as of now, this is my go-to string setup for my Babolat Aero Pro racquet.

We tried this strings as we usually play with normal Hyper-G. Soft model should help to protect from injuries. We did not find much difference. Happy with the performance and durability.

Great for control and spin. Gives lot of confidence to go for big shots. But not as soft as multi strings. If you have tennis elbow, ease this string slowly in your playing routine.

It is hyper-G, quite common.

Used for the mains (vertical) strings in hybrid set up because I have a sensitive arm. Good feel, power and spin. Very good ball pocketing, looks great on the racquet and good value for money!
