Powerful Frother, Outstanding Quality!
(Almost) 7 Year Update, 11/22/2024: I bought this in January of 2017! I still use it every day and it works just as good as it did on day one; that being awesome. I use it to make the crema for Cuban Coffee which is sugar and the first few seconds of coffee from the moka pot, blended with this frother. Old school Cubans use a spoon to whisk the mixture into a frothy paste. This does it in very little time instead. Other frothers are just not powerful enough. The key is to have good batteries. Use good rechargeable ones with high mAH values, 2800 mAH is a minimum. Enjoy!!! Update: I have been using this whisk every day for two and a half months now and I love it! I use it to make Cuban Coffee. Instead of whipping the sugar with a spoon (as I was taught to do) I use this Magic Wand! It is a powerful Frother and I have found that it is even more powerful when I use NIMH AA Camera rechargeable batteries. The main thing that makes this frother stand out is that the wand does not detach. It is able to stand up to the thicker mixture of sugar and espresso. I tried other battery frothers and was just about to give up when I found this beauty: Love it! 4/2/2017 UPDATE: I put 2 AA Duracell DX1500 NiMh 2500nAh batteries (from my camera) into this frother and it turned into a BEAST! Wow! 3/11/18 Update: I bought my first Cafe Casa Frother 1/14/17 and I have used it EVERY day since then, some times twice. It still works perfectly. I do not use it for milk I use it make the sugar for classic Cuban Coffee. The coffee / sugar mixture is usually done by hand but I have physical issues doing so. I burned up two "frothers" before finding this one. The mixture of coffee and sugar is much thicker than milk but this frother easily handles the mixture for up to a 6 cup Moka Pot. I recently got a mega 10 cup Moka Pot and though it can handle the 8 to 10 teaspoons of sugar / coffee it was taking too long and the whole timing was off. I just got a second Cafe Casa Frother and now use both of them when doing the 10 cup pot! Awesome, timing problem solved. Thank you again, Savannah, at Cafe Casa for an OUTSTANDING product!!!

Does the job! Has the power and style of the more expensive models but reasonably priced. Great whisk for the bucks!
Well my 10 year+ latte frother/beater finally 'bit the dust' as they say. Now I've been forced to find a replacement as it was not only my favorite frother but my morning egg whisker for breakfast burritos! My first replacement purchased via Amazon was the Aerolatte which was a great frother but struggled when it came to scrambling eggs and other dense liquids. You would have to "pre-scramble" the eggs first which kinda defeats the purpose. So great frother (and yes I know, that's why it is called a frother), poor on dense liquids. The second replacement was the Cafe Casa after reading the reviews of how powerful the unit was with its 15,000 rpm motor and 2 settings. I am so happy I took the chance as this stylish frother lives up to its reputation. It's not as powerful of my original unit that died, but at least it beats out the Aerolatte. First off, this baby comes with its own customized box and a bamboo spoon (don't ask about the spoon, have no idea but a nice perk to have since you never know when you may need it). Style: It's pretty slick looking as is stainless steel with a lightly brushed finished. It's easy and comfortable to use, clean, and comes at a great price. It doesn't come with a stand but it can stand on its own. Of course, there is nothing stopping you from using an old stand as I have two of which this unit fits perfectly. Power: Does the job! I usually set it on the high setting for scrambled eggs and low for frothing. It also does an exceptional job on hot cocoa, cappuccinos and whip cream. Definitely a keeper and no need for me to look further for a replacement chordless gadget right now. Price: Has the power and style of the more expensive models but reasonably priced. Great whisk for the bucks.

The Most Fun I've Had With a Kitchen Gadget in Years
I initially had problems with the unit I bought. I wrote a note to the seller after I opened the present on Christmas day, and she responded within an hour and sent another one, which arrived a few days later (what a great person, to do this on Christmas!!). Unfortunately, the replacement had the same problem. However, read on to learn why this should not stop you from buying this. To make a long story short, the problem was the Amazon Basics AA batteries that are shipped with the unit. After a few weeks of using the second unit, I took the batteries out and tested them with an advanced battery tester, and one of the batteries was completely dead, while the other was almost as good as new. So, all the problems with the unit were due to the batteries. I replaced the batteries with rechargeable Eneloop AA batteries, and ever since then have fallen in love with this nifty little gadget. It takes some practice to get it to froth correctly. The unit is now so energetic that it actually cavitates, which is a fancy word that means it ends up creating a hole in the liquid and simply spins in space, without moving the liquid at all. To keep this from happening, you have to tilt it slightly sideways and move it up and down the container until you find the "sweet spot" for frothing. Then, as the drink starts to foam up, you usually have to switch the lower speed to finish up, or else the froth may spill over the top of the glass or container. What do I do with it? Well, I love to make cheap lattes. I have a good coffee grinder and an Aeropress coffee maker that lets me make espresso shots. So, I heat milk in a large tall mug in the microwave until the milk is just staring to boil over. I then carefully lower the frother into the super hot milk, making sure to hold the mug away from me, and begin the frothing. When the milk reaches the top, I put my Aeropress over the mug, and add one shot of boiling hot water and press the plunger to cause the espresso to go down into the mug. The result is a pretty convincing latte, done for the price of a $21 frother and a $30 coffee/espresso maker. Since I already had the Aeropress and obviously already have a microwave, this lets me get 90% of what I'd get from a $500-1,000 espresso/latte machine with nothing more than the $21 for the frother. I also use it to froth a little skim milk for my hot chocolate. It gives me the taste and satisfaction of whipped cream, but with no fat. I am now also using it to emulsify small quantities of oil and vinegar salad dressing. It works very well for this. To clean it, I simply immerse it in the kitchen washing water and turn it on full. I then rinse it under the fastest running water setting on my faucet, and then spin it dry. I've seldom had more fun with a kitchen gadget.

…good quality materials and construction. Good value on offer but not sure if I would want to pay full price!

This frother works well overall. I just found with this frother compared to other ones that it's rather heavy on the handle part once you put batteries in. The fact that this frother has two speeds is perfect and the fact that it uses two double a batteries is awesome. This frother works great for frothing your coffee or drink in record time with enough aeration. I am quite impressed with this product and would recommend it to anyone.

Was frustrated with my old one as it always seemed to get clogged and was a pain to clean. Bought this as the head/whisk looked much bigger. I was disappointed when it arrived as it was smaller than I thought. However, it works like a dream and it is really easy to clean. It is quite expensive in comparison but it is worth it if you enjoy a frothy coffee. I can now get a head of froth on my coffee that is easily 5cm deep and it rinses clean under the tap to be used 10minutes later. Battery compartment easy to change when necessary
