I wanted to purchase a couple of cameras for indoor use, one for monitoring my 3D printer, and the other for recording the birds in our garden (through a window). Having used Teckin products before, I decided on this pair and am not disappointed.First of all, configuring and monitoring the cameras though the Teckin app is really straightforward. The instructions are easy to follow, and I had my cameras up and running within minutes of unboxing them.This Teckin camera records in 1080p, and through the app you can save videos or photographs direct to the phone, or you can scroll through and replay the videos from a given date and time. I left a camera facing into the living room overnight to see how well the night vision works, and it really is good - the detail is really clear.I'm not sure what the manufacturer's recommendation is for microSD card sizes, but I am using 128GB cards in my cameras and they are working just fine.The cameras can be set up for motion or noise detection which I will test out at another time, and can also be connected to Teckin Cloud so that you can receive alerts from the cameras when they are triggered.All in all, these cameras are really great and for once, low cost doesn't mean low quality!

I have other cameras in the house but this product has better quality at a lower price. I paid more for my other cameras and they are only at 720p while Teckin's are at 1080p and the difference in quality is evident in both day and night vision.In the box you'll fine:2 x Cameras2 x Power plug2 x USB cables2 x 3M stickersThe adhesive in the package and the possibility to move the camera in different positions make it perfect in any situation. Once connected to the power and open the application, the setup is very simple and only takes a few seconds. Once set up I had to perform a firmware update which was very quick and added the ability to interact with Alexa and Google Assistant.The image quality is very good especially compared to other much more expensive cameras on the market. It is also possible to activate notifications in case of motion or sound detection and the camera also allows you to listen to what is happening.There is no SD card included in the box but you can choose to have a cloud storage.If you are looking for an inexpensive camera that allows you to monitor your home when you are away then this is the product for you. The only flaw is that, unlike other cameras, it is not possible to rotate it from the application to have an even wider viewing angle

After trying this camera in a single pack, I ordered the dual pack, as its even better value, its great to now have 3 cameras all using the same app, its so easy to switch between them, they are so light and easy to position, you can quickly cover an area, and even run them from a battery USB power bank if there was no available mains supply. I have discovered that in the app you can manually switch the camera to day or night vision, I wanted a camera to put on a windowsill to see what a Fox was doing in the garden at night, I switched the camera to day, this turns off the IR LED lights, so ne reflections back from the window glass, when the security lights turn on the picture is great, its better than the IR night vision and in colour. If you have street lights outside a property then this camera is very good at night in Day or night mode. great service and customer support from Teckin.

I bought one of these, and I was so impressed that I came here and bought a twin pack.All three of these cameras work well reliably with no issues. Customer support is provided via email, or a Facebook page where people seem pretty responsive in answering questions.I bought these at around £15 per camera (list price at the time) and for that price, the picture quality is much better than you’d expect. We previously had a >£100 video baby monitor and this gives a much better picture and at a wider angle.I’ve rated this 5* because for that price, it far exceeds what you’d expect. It’s not 100% perfect, and my criticisms are below.1) the audio is quite quiet. When you have your phone at full volume you can just about hear somebody talking in the room. It’d be great to be able to adjust the mic sensitivity.2) the mount isn’t the best thing in the world. The adhesive is definitely strong enough to mount it long term just stuck to the wall, but you might struggle to reach the position you’re aiming for without getting creative with mounting options.3) I’d love to be able to buy these in full white or full black. At the moment the only available design is completely white with a black front.
