I have an actual Otodus megalodon tooth. This replica tooth is a good educational representation. The actual scientific name should be Otodus megalodon instead of “Carcharocles megalodon”

This was purchased for my 9 year old son. The first arrived broken, from transport I assume. The return process was super easy! The replacement was shipped immediately and arrived on time. Paint Comes Off Too Easy
Tried to use this for a project but the paint just wanted to come off so I couldn’t really use it that well. Had I known it was cheaply made, I wouldn’t spent my money on it. But I cannot return it now so.

Not like the photos
This is not as nice as the photos. Edges are not serrated, and there's a large MADE IN CHINA printed on it. Overall it feels nice and it's painted well, but the photos should reflect the actual product. Will be returning.

This is an amazing replica. Great for fossil collectors and for those who may be curious about paleontology. An authentic Megalodon tooth of this size, at shows, may be quite cost prohibitive. Great product. Looks great on a stand.
