Simple, easy to install, but what good is it if they don't last? Also, it may matter to you know that the sound they make is quite audible if you are sitting outside within, say, 20 feet--and if you have multiples, you will hear first one, then another, then another...they ARE annoying--that IS the purpose of them after all. But don't worry, the noise will stop when they FAIL. So they'll discourage the moles (and people) from being near them...for a while (I got about 3 weeks from one, then maybe 6 weeks from the rest(I bought a bunch) , and one held out for almost 10 weeks). A better solution for us was a less frequent watering (Florida--lawns need water) to reduce the attractiveness of the environment for bugs which the moles feed on. Unfortunately, that might mean dead spots in the lawn from lack of moisture. Sigh. Good Luck!

Put these out in early spring after seeing we had vole damage from the winter. We left them out about 6 weeks and thought we’d eradicated them so we brought them in. They came back about a month later so we put them back out. Could be user error, we haven’t seen any new holes since we put them back out but we may have to try an alternate method along with the stakes. Not sure how effective they are but part of that could be my ignorance on vole habits

These repellents work great for about 2 years, when water intrudes and the electronics fail. My first set kept the moles and gophers away until they stopped functioning. However, they worked so well I am replacing them with new. The new set came with instructions to apply axle grease where the top fits onto the bottom. This is to prevent water intrusion. I hope this works, because when functioning, these devices do repel moles and gophers! Time will tell!

Product seems to work, if they actually work. Out of the x4 received only x2 worked. I don’t see any more new mounds right next to them. I definitely hear them when im in the backyard. If they are more than 10 feet away from fresh mounds it doesn’t seem like they work. New mounds kept popping up until I put them right next to the mounds.

Worked for 6 months 2 of the 4 stopped working. Amazon won't replace exchange or refund because its past the 30 day return. Defective is not an option with them. No contract information for the company what Amazon gave me went to a company with the same name Apollo but was just a phone answering service. Very disappointed with Amazon and the seller

I have used various brands of these sonic repellers. I just installed them so can't say how they work but this brand is definitely more well made- the spike is made of metal, not plastic like many I have purchased, and the mechanism seems much better. You have to plug them in and close them, and they work immediately. So far they are in the ground and beeping away.

These mole repellent devices did absolutely nothing to get rid of moles in our yard.

I wrote down this review because this product brought me with a nice shopping experience. I bought them by chance, because I wanted to try some harmless and energy-saving products. I received them very soon after purchasing from Amazon. I wish my flower grows as beautiful as my neighbor's, which makes me happy all day when I see them, but there were always mounds of dirts around my flower bed.They couldn't absorb enough nutrition from the poor soil. I bought the spikes and inserted them into the flowerbed and then stomped down the mounds in the garden. They worked as advertised, worked properly in the ground. About a week later, no new mounds! At the same time, my flower turned perky, very colorful! I'm so exciting to see this! Love this wonderful product! As long as my flowers stay in this way, I'll keep them in my garden. I don't need the extra money to replace the batteries anyway.
