However, it was well stitched, decent quality fabric, grommets we’re secure, fasteners were reinforced. Is it a high quality corset, no, but for under 20 you can absolutely not beat it. The bust area was a little flimsy, but still for the price I expected a whole lot less. It could absolutely be worn as a stand-alone for a corset top and look really good. Could also be layered over shirts, dresses, etc. and look nice. Will probably end up purchasing more. I would size down though. It was a little large in the belly area even after tightening the laces as far as they could and for a good fitting corset the back panels and laces are what determines the shape and how much compression you want and works better when the seems do not meet and you have room to loosen or tighten where needed for optimal fit and look. It also did not pinch and had some curve to it that wearing it is not uncomfortable or overly restrictive in movement. All in all the price/quality which much higher than expected.
