When I first saw this cleansing balm, I really didn't know what to expect. It sort of looks like honey and it's called a balm. As it turned out, it's not sticky like honey, nor oily like a balm. It's actually a gooey gel-like substance that dips out easily with the wooden paddle included and spreads across the face very nicely. It breaks down the old oil on your face and dissolves make-up or whatever you may have that needs cleansing away. I was rather impressed with how well this cleansing balm worked and how sublime it feels on my face.This balm is very clean and natural. Very gentle on the skin and nourishing. No scent that I could detect. Just pure natural goodness that cleans well and leaves the face feeling wonderfully hydrated. One of the best cleansers I've used in a while, and I've tried a lot of good ones.This is good for all skin types though I'm not sure that I would recommend it for oily and problematic skin. That I'm really not sure about. It is wonderful though for normal, combination and dry skin because this cleanser leaves the face with a feeling of it being moisturized but with no residue whatsoever. Made my skin feel very soft and clean.

This is a very thick gel, I had trouble spreading it on my face and when it mixed with the water it did not turn into a lotion, it was hard to wash off. It also was not dissolving my eye make up off as it claims it can do. I do not detect any fragrance at all. I do like the glass jar and the styling of the label it is clean and sophisticated looking. Rating two stars = don’t like it.

When I saw upon receipt that this cleanser from Comfort Zone is described on the box as an "oily cleansing balm," I thought I'd hate it. Even though I have normal-to-dry (dry, in the winter) skin, I've hated every oil cleanser I've tried. But this cleansing balm is amazing. Despite not foaming like a typical cleanser, it removes dirt and makeup, leaving my skin feeling both clean and moisturized. The label says that it is designed for all skin types, and, while I can't speak for how it will or won't affect oily skin, I can say with confidence that it won't add oiliness or greasiness to normal skin.I've only recently been introduced to Comfort Zone skin products, and I've been impressed with all those I've tried. Of the total ingredients of this particular product, 100% are from natural sources and 26.1% from organic farming. I have extremely sensitive skin that reacts to a lot of chemicals, and I appreciate that this doesn't irritate it at all. First off, I wouldn’t really call this a cleansing balm. It doesn’t have any “balm” characteristics other than being stored in a jar. I would just say this is a cleanser in a jar. At first, it appears to have a honey consistency, but as soon as water hits it...it turns to a foamy lather. I like using this [ comfort zone ] Sacred Nature Cleansing Balm to remove my makeup in the shower. I felt like it did a pretty good job of cleaning my face without completely stripping it or leaving any residue behind. I did have to go back in and clean up the mascara on the skin around my eyes that it had removed from my lashes. I feel like that is pretty typical of cleansers in general though. I experienced no irritation from this cleanser. I have acne-prone oily sensitive skin for reference. I think this is a decent cleanser. My only complaint is the price point for how small of a jar it is. You’re not getting that much cleanser. I think there are much more affordable options out there that work just as well. I wash my face a lot, so I can’t afford to keep repurchasing this cleansing balm on the regular. This is more of a once in a while kind of product.

One of the things I like the most about Amazon's Vine program is that I'm able to try higher end skin products. Products that I would normally never try due to such high expense. Balms are usually super thick and I haven't had all that much luck with them, to be honest. This product is NOT like that at all. Instead of the thick balm I expected, this is almost a...fluffy gel-like substance. I shrugged my shoulders and gave it a shot.This goes on like...butter. It feels smooth and jelly like. I proceeded to work it in and discovered in the process that it also removes make up, including eye liner and mascara. I worked it into my entire face and then I rinsed it off completely and dried. My face felt so hydrated! My makeup was gone and my facial skin was left feeling light and beautifully clean!This was a pleasant surprise and I'm looking forward to continued use of this awesome balm!

This jar of Sacred Nature cleansing balm from Comfort Zone works very well to remove makeup and daily buildup of dirt and facial oils. It's very unusual. It looks like a cross between honey and Vaseline. It comes with a small scoop but I found that it wasn't necessary. I just dip my fingertip in the soft mixture and remove a tiny amount. I then combine with a few drops of warm water and it lathers up and turns into the most luxurious cleanser! It spreads well and rinses cleanly. It removes every speck of makeup and leaves my skin feeling very soft. It doesn't have any type of a scent at all. Usually fragrance free products still retain the natural scent of the ingredients that the fragrance would have covered up. This smells completely like nothing at all.I'm very happy with this cleansing balm. It works well and even the packaging is very nice!

Knew very little about this cleanser. I am a bit of a cleanser fiend, love a balm and oil type. This was not a solid balm it’s a thick like honey. You need little and it melts into skin. There is no fragrance in this so if you like luxury but no fragrance this is one for you

I love using this product as it leaves my skin smooth and clean when I am removing my makeup.

Balsamo detergente struccante davvero ottimo per ingredienti e resa. Lascia la pelle del viso morbida e pulita senza seccare o far tirare la pelle. Si massaggia su pelle asciutta e poi con un po’ le dita bagnate facendo diventare il balsamo un latte, alla fine si elimina con un panno umido.Prodotto eccezionale

Avevo grosse aspettative su questo prodotto ma le ha deluse tutte. Non strucca bene gli occhi, il mascara non si toglie bene pur strofinando gli occhi con le dita. È sempre necessario passare un panno in microfibra o dei dischetti in cotone. Ci sono prodotti che struccano senza troppa fatica. E per questo risultato il prezzo è decisamente esorbitante. Senza contare che nella fase risciacquo si ha sempre la sensazione di avere la pelle oleosa e non pulita. Non lo ricomprerò e sarà anche difficile finirlo. Due stelle perché meglio di quelli scadenti ma non degno di una fascia medio-alta.
