These placemats are effective and attractive . They provide heat and liquid protection for your tablecloth or wood table while providing a nice color background for your table settings. Easily cleaned with a damp cloth. Since they are the same on front and back they have an extended life. They were nicely priced and I bought 2 extra to use as table runners.

Love these placemats. I am very particular and probably looked at a hundred placemats. These exceeded my expectations. Their quality is high. They are not thin, just the right thickness. They are also very nice looking. Even though they are vinyl they look super. Do not look cheap in any way. They would look great on your table as a placement. Of course you could use them in other ways. Believe it or not I bought 6 sets. I have them in my refrigerator. They fit perfectly, no need to cut them, you can have them overlap, they look fine. I have the best looking refrigerator in town. I have them as liners in my kitchen cabinet, many fit perfectly and some overlap which is absolutely fine. I do not like to cut as I can never get the cut right and in fact there is no reason to cut them. They are great to use in newer cabinets to protect the wood and would certainly add a great deal in older cabinets to cover any marks in the wood. I got the light brown color which to me is a more medium brown color which I actually prefer. I should mention over the years I have bought many placements including cloth ones. They tend to get dirty and do not always wash up good and they can also slid which vinyl does not. I highly recommend these placements. The one con is maybe the price but as these will last forever and be used in so many ways I know they are worth the price. Without a doubt I highly recommend this product. I also believe they come in different colors. If on the fence about these just give them a try you will not be disappointed. I hope this review help people in their decision.

We bought this for our new wooden table. After opening, it had strong smell. But i washed it with dishwasher soap, rinsed well and dried it. After sometime the smell is gone and we are now using it for our table. Need time and patience until the smell goes away. It is simple, elegant and easy to wash. It fits to our table very well. Recommended!
