Hi, in basic terms, when you take these capsules regularly (with a large glass of water) they bulk out and add fibre in your bowel, so you don’t get constipated. Very helpful if you have issues there, or if you feel you’re not getting enough fibre with your normal food. If you feel bloated, or you can’t poo easily or regularly, they’re worth taking to ensure you don’t get constipated. Just follow the dosage instructions on the tub. Hope this helps?

How quick do they work

It very much depends on your individual health and well-being - I’d say allow a few days for your system to get used to the extra fibre, and for a regular pattern to be established. If you take the recommended dose every day (and not with any other medication, but always with plenty of liquid) then within 2-3 days or so, any constipation or bloating should reduce pretty well. How much fiber is in each serving? On the label it says 1400mg of *psyllium husk* in each capsule, but it doesn't say how much fiber is in that.
