Informative and nice to have around
I'm a civvie that's been thinking about going into the mil for quite some time. I have a bunch of friends that have served and I got this book so I could understand more of what they're talking about. It's nice to have this. I'm thinking about sharing this with them to see what they think about it.

A bit outdated but provides a great outline for recon work

Written for Brigade and Battalion S2 not for scouts.
This is a good book if you are the officer in S2, but not if you are in a recon platoon looking for tactics and training material.
