I purchased other less expensive brands they caused me pain after several hours I purchased larger sizes of the other brands they caused me pain. These thigh high compression socks fit perfect the size I wear is a medium long Per the measurements taken at the hospital. Sigvaris have great stretchability very comfortable and breathable far better than any of the other cheaper products I ordered. Don’t be silly and try to scrimp and save a few bucks when it comes to your health I did it and it was a total waste of time. Went on tight and my legs felt great. After the 2nd week of wearing, the elastic at the top of the tights already started giving out. As predicted, getting them on and off is a somewhat strenuous exercise. They were more easily damaged than expected. I damaged them by pulling too forcefully, causing "sprung" patches in the elastic part and a run in the upper leg.
