Love this bucket. Very sturdy but when it first arrived the smell was unreal. Very strong rubber odor. I left it outside the barn for a few days and it seems to be dissipating.

Quality item. Heavy duty. Looks like it will handle four seasons outdoors with no problem.

I fill my birdbaths once or twice a day in dry weather with no rain, and I used to use a small plastic bucket-i got really sick of the plastic ones breaking all the time! (I don’t use a large bucket because it gets too heavy to lug around) This is the perfect size to clean and refill my two birdbaths. I also notice that if I bump the bucket on my leg or on the deck it does not slosh down on my leg or foot like it did with plastic buckets-it’s more flexible material so it doesn’t splash or spill water like plastic does. Because of the material it doesn’t spill when I set it on the uneven ground, or get knocked over as easily. It did smell strongly when I first opened it (not super unpleasant it reminded me of walking into a mechanic shop or a new tire business. It reminded me of a strong scent of “new car” smell so not entirely unpleasant.) However, that scent dissipated slowly over time, and now is very faint after a couple weeks. I really love my new bucket-very strong and looks like it will last forever! I also will use it occasionally to water a tree/ plant and could use it to clean as well. Really glad I got it and recommend it!

This bucket smells horrible. In fact, it stinks so bad I am concerned I’ve inhaled something unhealthy. Washing it didn’t help. I bought this bucket thinking rubber was healthier than plastic. I’m going to return it. In the meantime, it’s sitting in the basement so I don’t have to breath the fumes.

We have 11 huskies and two German Shepards. Needed something to hold up to not only the dogs but the winter ice as well. Tractor supply is always sold out of rubber buckets so I got these off Amazon and have no complaints. It's been over two weeks now and they tried chewing one but gave up, and I did find a black piece of silicone and it was a cover for the metal handle on the ends. It slipped back on good as new. Very sturdy, and if they ever freeze, you can easily bust it out. Highly recommend.

Great for winter easy to bust ice out of for goats. Takes longer to freeze then a plastic bucket.

Just the right size for small jobs around the farm to save arms from lugging larger pails. It’s also a good size (short so a horse doesn’t get scared sticking it’s whole nose in like a typical bucket) to feed small amounts of medicated grain or to tempt a nervous horse, onto a trailer,etc. It’s a good size to carry gardening tools for minor projects. The listing says it’s light weight, but it seems rugged to me, as it’s survived being knocked around a horse barn with no damage. I find more uses for it every day.

I bought this bucket for the boat because it is rubber and won't scratch or dent anything. If you kick it by accident it won't break a toe. If you want to cool off you can tie a 1/4 line to it and fetch a pail of water. My primary reason for having a good buket on board is for bailing out water in case of, well I don't know why I might need to bail but it seems like a good idea. The best thing I have started doing with it is to put the steel anchor in it for storage. This bucket is very strong and stable and MADE OF RUBBER! Get one or two for your boat.
