Twice Upon A Time, Little Red Riding Hood: Fairytales Retold Paperback – October 17, 2017

I was looking for new children's books for my granddaughter and came across this story. It actually brought tears to my eyes with the gentle and persuasive way it weaves a compassionate lesson into the structure of a tale from a much harsher period in our history.

I would recommend this book to anyone. Marina Gioti is a very good writer. Her version of Little Red Riding Hood is one of the best.

This book was a fun read with our 8 yr old daughter. It takes a fun twist!

A good way for kids to learn critical literacy through picture books. Most people know there are two sides to every story, but stereotypical thinking dies hard. In this global communities, there are more sides to every story.海外の絵本には対象者が幼児でも、批判的思考を育てる目的のためや、社会的な問題を題材として扱った絵本が非常に多い。絵本のもつ力を存分に教育現場に生かすというメソッドが浸透しているからだと思う。
