My border collie was WILD on a leash. I couldn’t stand walking him now that he’s gotten bigger. He just turned one and he’s just too strong and fast! Going down our stairs was dangerous and honestly, I was starting to get angry when I’d walk him.My neighbor had this harness and on a walk, he offered to swap with me so we could try the harness on Wicket. He pulled once. And after that, the leash actually had slack in it bc he was walking beside me. I ordered one on the walk. It has been life changing for us! My ten year old son can walk him with ease and Wicket is even more calm just wearing it. He seems to like it. I think that first pull squeezed him a little bit and he wasn’t a fan of the pressure.Whatever it is, I’m 100% satisfied and would recommend this to any dog owner with a hyper/strong willed dog.Wicket is a great pup and he’s learning to have more manners but this was a great help for us!

Reviewing size XL. Bought Oct 2020 and initially used it on a 78 pound Great Pyrenees as the primary restraint. It fit mostly ok and held back an as-yet untrained girl who had a lot of energy. After 6 months of constant use I retired it in favor of a martingale collar. The harness was just too much coverage on a fluffy coat. Fast forward to March 2023. I took in a 50 pound stray as a foster. This harness fit him perfectly. Some might say it’s too big but not me.I’m happy it had not deteriorated from age. All the stitchings, straps and hardware are all strong and still intact.Putting it on is easy even in the dark. As long as it’s not inside out, just slide the opening over the head in any orientation, then rotate the harness so the nylon handle are on top. Then reach under and grab and attach each of the two clips.I’d buy it again if it were made in the USA.

Love this. When hooking the leash to the front loop near the chest, it stops all pulling with little effort. You can also put the leash on the back loop near the dogs back as well, but this obviously would not stop pulling. Sometimes if clipped near the chest, the leash can end up under and around the dogs legs which is annoying, but a small price to pay to help with pulling. Works well for my 85 lb golden!

I have a 12-13 year old dog who loves to run. Unfortunately, he also has bad legs and I think the running is making it worse. He's 60 pounds and pulls HARD when we go for "walks". So I ordered this harness because of the front hook to keep him from pulling and running. It absolutely does that. It also seems very well made and very sturdy. So far, so good. He's a medium-sized 60 pound dog and I ordered the large size. It fits very well and is easy enough to adjust. My dog is the one next to the GSD, who is 95 pounds, just for comparison.

Love the handle. Clip on back is great for car harness to attach to. The front clip is the problem. If dog pull backwards, it can pull off like taking off a turtleneck sweater. Has it's good points, but there are better other options for pulling on leash. It's the right size, not an issue of being too big.

I bought the size Lg for a 52 lb Springer spaniel. It fits him perfectly. I use it with a belt harness which is attached to the backseat headrest in the middle. I also attached a metal guard between the trunk & backseat with a special dog blanket for the trunk space. It keeps him safe while riding and he can't jump out when I open the trunk.

This is a beautiful, comfortable harness but my dog, an anxious Husky, chewed threw it shortly after I purchased it. There was no way to fix the straps and connect them back or even replace them that I could see. That is NOT the fault of the seller but my dog chews things. perhaps there is someway we could replace the straps from the manufacturer but they are sewed in. I would still like to recommend this harness.

It arrived quickly. It fit my dog well, and is a pretty sturdy harness. When buying just make sure to measure your dog, and refer to the size guide!
