I was afraid to eat it because I can’t stand little bones in my food so I offered it to my next-door neighbor and when he finally got to eat it, he let me know “It was fabulous and delicious.”

I ordered a different but well-reviewed brand first, which I did not like. It was supposed to be "lightly smoked" and it was - much too lightly for my taste and very bland. I decided to try this Jose brand, and what a difference! True lightly smoked trout fillets with firm, meaty flesh and very appetizing. The only downside is the price of course - and it's $3 per can higher now than it was 3 weeks ago when I bought it. But you can't argue with the quality and the taste. If you like smoked trout, you owe it to yourself to try this product, even if you only eat it once a month.

Its ok. Tastes similar to tuna. Not sure what about their process would render a couple ounces of fish in a can as 15$. The value simply is not here. Apparently amazon is complicit in inflating these review scores as i submitted a 2 star review days ago and its not showing.

Small package but incredible taste. Good enough to eat out of the tin!

But way too expensive. It is good though I think it may be farmed so buyer beware.
