WRC-LCD 7 Inch High Resolution Rotating Color TFT LCD Display Monitor with Remote Control and Mounting Bracket

This little monitor makes the fourth one I've gotten. I use them for receiving the output of video cameras I have around my trailer. Since they come without a power supply, I normally get a small 12 volt, 1 amp supply that powers them very well. One of the things I like about them is that they are switchable from 4:3 to 16:9 size screen and even though I use the 16:90 set up, I can check out the other set up if I need to. The only thing about this one that was different from the others I have is this one has no tint adjustment on it. I haven't missed this however, as I noted this monitor seems to have a slightly brighter pictures than the others I have. This was just what I needed for a camera that allows me to check up on my trailer hitch feeders and chase off the ever present raccoons......!

I bought this as part of a backup camera system I'm installing in my 2012 Toyota Tundra. It works. The display seems reasonable. My only issue with it was a VERY narrow viewing angle before brightness falls off, removing mounting options. If you want to see this screen well, the face of the monitor MUST be very close to perpendicular to your line of sight.

I expected a high resolution monitor, it's not very clear. Not impressed at all.UPDATE: After I thought I fixed the flickering, it started back up,then the screen keep going blank. I replaced it with the original monitor to see if it was the wiring, it work's perfect. Looks like I'm sticking with a 4in monitor. I would have given a 2 star if it didn't keep going blank, JUNK.

Review edited 5-24-2017:I've gone from one to four stars for the following reasons:1: Within a few hours of leaving a one-star review I received an email from the company apologizing for the problem and promising to send out a replacement right away. I received the replacement 2 days later.....EXCELLENT customer service!2: Even the best products can fail on occasion or have a "bad run", so I'm happy to give this camera a second chance, especially since it was easy to install, gives a great picture, and comes at a great price.(If this one doesn't leak, I'll be adjusting this to a five-star review) The original, one-star, review's comments were left below so you can see how my pinion was changed by receiving such great customer service.Original Review:I had initially planned to write a 5-star review for this camera because it was inexpensive and worked great....but then it rained. I the lens was full of water and took over two weeks to finally clear up enough that I could have an "acceptably" clear picture again. Then it rained again. Now the lens is permanently spotted so badly that it's completely useless, as you can see from the picture.I didn't expect this camera to be submersible or anything, but I do expect a backup camera to be able to hold up in normal weather. Very disappointed.

Bought one to make sure I like it. The color is nice, you can add a second camera or DVD player. You can change the view from backward to forward. So if you place your camera in front or in the back of your car or straight or upside down, you can adjust the screen to all four possibilities. I like it so much, that I bought another two to install on big trailers pulled by tractors. I can see everything behind my trailer so I feel safe backing up. I installed it myself with a esky camera that is very good too. All this for around 100$. Nice!

The item was so crappy, One of the connector from camera to the view finder was missing. I returned it. I don't know how everyone seems to like it.

So far so good!! Very Impressed!!! This monitor works great and does exactly what I need it to do. I put it in the back of my suv where there was an empty compartment and with some custom work to the empty compartment it fit perfectly and I connected it to the video out source on my front radio/dvd player. Also this was a great value. Thinking about buying another one for the third row of my suv as this one is in the second row.

The monitor itself works as advertised and for what I use it for (an external monitor for a video camera), it's fine. But the mounting hardware is REALLY flimsy, the threads on the monitor do not fit the screw in the stand. But I don't used the mounting hardware anyway. For the price, it's fine.
