Caprichos del Paladar - Producers of Spain’s Best ArtichokesOur dedication to traditional cultivation and preservation of artichokes began 30 years ago on our family farm. The home of Caprichos del Paladar is located in Vega Baja del Segura, a deep, fertile valley surrounded by Spain's mountainous Mediterranean coast. Our lush soil, long sunny days and little rainfall create the ideal location for artichoke cultivation. We do not use chemical fertilizers, instead allowing our crops to grow according to nature’s rhythm. Each artichoke is individually selected, hand-peeled, cooked in a water bath and packaged by hand. We package our artichokes within 8 hours of harvest ensuring a fresh, juicy and sweet artichoke, with its natural color and flavor carefully maintained. Cooking and Serving Instructions:Simply remove an artichoke heart from the packaging, and using a fork or your hands, gently pull back on the petals until your artichoke resembles a blooming flower. Remember, these artichokes were developed to do just that so they will open easily with little effort.To heat your Artichoke Heart Flower, place the artichoke flower-side up in a pan over medium-high heat.
