Hey my name is trey miles, and i am a senior in high school. I have played on alot of different reed brands and types and i have found the rico royal reeds to be the best reeds because of response, tone, and to be good in various musical styles and playing situations.

Great Reeds
These are the only reeds my son will use for his sax. He says they give a nice smooth sound. Less vibration and they don't split as easily. I hope this helps anyone out there that is a new band mom or dad or starting to play an alto sax themselves. My son has played for 6 yrs in Marching band, Concert band and Jazz band.

Great reeds used them for years. The new packaging is rubbish, the box is bigger the reeds are now in card sleeve sealed in plastic bag, the hard plastic sleeves are better more protection for the reeds.

Can't review this item from this purchase. They sent Rico not Rico Royal. I was almost out of reeds and opened the box. The price was good and Rico are fine for practice.

趣味で吹奏楽でサックスを吹いています。テナーサックスを吹いていた際にリードを探しており、こちらとの相性が良かったので、アルト転向後もこちらを使ってみたいと思い購入してみました。学生時代はバンドレン青箱3を使っていましたが、どうもしっくり来ず、自分には少し硬めな印象があったのでリコに変えてみました。こちらは番号は3.5ですがバンドレンの青箱3よりは柔らかく、且つ芯がある音が出て好みです。1箱10枚中3枚ほど使えたのでまずまずかなというところです。あまり薄すぎると音の安定性がなくなりそうなので、しばらくはこちらで安定した音が出せるよう練習したいとおもいます。 ちなみにですが、楽器本体はヤマハのYAS-62、マウスピースはセルマーのソロイスト⭐︎⭐︎、リガチャーはバンドレンのM/Oです。
