The photodynamic therapy (PDT)  or light therapy mask is a non-invasive cosmetic treatment that uses light therapy to improve the appearance of the skin. Then, the mask is placed over the face and emits red, blue, yellow or a combination lights.

The red light helps to stimulate collagen production, improve blood circulation and reduce inflammation, resulting in a reduction of fine lines, wrinkles and hyperpigmentation. The blue light has antibacterial properties that help to kill acne-causing bacteria, reducing breakouts and promoting clearer skin.
