Want a Shower Massage? Then Buy This Shower Head!
I purchased one of these Kohler shower heads from Ferguson Supply a couple weeks ago for our master bedroom shower. I installed it without telling my wife. At the end of the day when she showered she came out of the bedroom and said "OMG, that was an incredible shower! Where did you get the shower head?" I then tried it and decided we need one for our other shower so I ordered this one from Amazon. The shower head is designed to mix water and air for more invigorating water jets. I believe there is some truth to this, but I should also point out that the invigorating shower is also experienced due to a higher than typical water flow rate of 2.5 gpm. Typical shower head water flow rates are ~1.5 to 1.7 gpm. So if water conservation is important to you this may not be the best choice. What my wife and I have done is cut out showers shorter by a couple minutes to off-set the addition water flow rate....it is well worth it to us!
