I purchased these at the recommendation of the fabulous Miss W, who is a good friend and valued member of our son's therapy team. Our little man has a laundry list of diagnoses at this point, and he does a lot of chewing and oral stemming as part of all of that. So she had recommended these as part of a protocol to increase stimulation to the mouth in a manner that might decrease his desire to chew on everything he touches. (We swab the insides of his cheeks, the top of his palate, and the sides of his tongue...I also provide a firm but gentle press to the bottoms of his front teeth).These arrived without any condition issues, and we haven't had any of them break thus far. I must confess that because of what we are using them for, I tend to wash them out and reuse each one a few times, as he's the only one we're using them on. I also must confess because I was having a rather crummy month right after she recommended it, I was not as diligent about it as I should have been ;) But I've been better in the past week, and you know what? It does seem to be helping some! But the rating is based on the lack of condition issues and that they are holding up, not their helpfulness in this area.

A great choice for those who require moistening and/or mouth cleaning while bed bound for health issues and can’t brush teeth. Highly recommend.

Use these to brush my infant son's teeth. They are soft, they clean well and he loves to chew on them.

I bought these to use after an upper jaw surgery, and had my jaw banded for a week. These tooth sponges worked great around the bands. My jaw is still healing as it was put back together with plates and screws. And because I have an incision from one side of the top jaw to the other side, these tooth sponges are gentle to use close to the incision without pain. They have a nice long handle making it easy to get to the back teeth . I had bought one pack of 20 prior and liked them so much that I just bought 2 more packs. I think these would work for anyone, whether you had a mouth surgery or not.

Great for cleaning the ice machine or other products with hard to get to areas when you are cleaning. Highly recommend this item. All great item to use as intended for mouth care. I love this flexible product.

I use this to brush/clean my cat's teeth and they work better than I expected, I can use the same sponge 5 to 7 times without having it break, considering how sharp cat's teeth are, my cat does not resist, so is an easy process, I don't need to maneuver the sponge in a forceful way at all, when it breaks, just cracks, so far I haven't had a sponge breaking into pieces, I use it moist with the teeth cleaning spray they sell for pets, I have never used it dry.

Used for brushing my 98 year old mother’s teeth. Also used with a product to prevent dry mouth. Very good, not too rough but sturdy. Some of these will bite in two easily, but not these. They are very safe to use with older adults.

Good product but be careful as the sponge tip has a tenancy to come off and could possibly choke someone who is unable to swallow.
