Good product
Nice heavy glass made here in the USA. Made meat loaf and bread so far. Both turned out well.

Great Loaf Dish
Great for making meatloaf as well as baking bread. This is what I needed. A sturdy dish for oven or microwave.

An old stand-by still going strong ...
My mother had a glass loaf dish just like this dating from the 1940s, so I grew up seeing her use it to make bread, especially non-yeast fruit breads around the holidays. I don't remember her ever using it for anything else. But it's perfectly suited to a number of different applications. As a single person, I struggle sometimes with recipes that are sized for 6-8 servings. Reducing the ingredients to produce a smaller dish isn't much of a problem but finding baking dishes in the proper size can be an issue. Enter the 1.5-quart loaf pan. It's perfect for a small amount of lasagne -- it's tall enough to handle the multiple layers, and makes about 3 servings total. I also use it for enchiladas, smaller casseroles, baking a chicken breast and thigh with veggies, a small beef or pork roast -- perfect for that smaller serving size. And of course, it's great for breads of all kinds. It's glass, so you can see what's going on in the dish while it's baking, and it washes beautifully in the dishwasher. I use this at least once a week and I'm completely happy and satisfied with Anchor Hocking quality.

Sturdy and reliable
This is my second one. Loved the first one and needed another. It works great for meatloaf.

Replacement
This was a replacement for a pan that I had broken. It is a lot thicker then the previous one and the ends are not as squared.

Not sure why bottom is smaller than top
I am not a professional baker so I don't get why the bottom is smaller than the top. Other than that is it works fine.

excellent loaf pan
I received this within 3 days of placing the order. I was going to order two but only one was 'left in stock'.This loaf pan is outstanding made by Anchor (US) and the glass is really thick. The size is 9" x 5" which is a 1kg (2.25 lb) size loaf pan. I suppose it is slightly shallower than a tin one (well some makes) and the ends are sloped - slight negatives but that's just a v.small niggle considering. Outstanding value as the price is less than you would pay for a tin one.Now they are back in stock so i'll order 3 more.
