Nobody is more surprised than I am
I was looking for a motion detector LED to fit under eaves. PLenty of wall mounts and ceiling mounts, but under the eaves...they do NOT drop down enough to make the sensor work well...or for the lights to adjust to cover enough area. Fist thing...when I opened the box...cheaply made plastic. Oh crap...this won't work well. Hey...I had the light, might as well put it in. It is PHENOMENAL!!!! Excellent sensor range. Bright enough for the driveway...near the garage. Easy to install. AND...to look at it, you don't know that it is crappy plastic. I got a second one for the other side of the garage. They do exactly what I want them to do and there is plenty of light. Let's see how well they hold up in NE winters. I would...so far..definitely get them again

I'm Ordering Another One
Look at the picture. Installation is simple. The mount pulls up tight. In the soffit gap, what looks dark is the side of the 4" electrical box. That is no gap. The gasket is tight on top of the light and there is no gap on any "side" with any need to caulk anything.Set-up is simple. I set things so it will work in full brightness, as the picture shows. That's because right under this side of the garage is another light I sometimes leave on all night. This does come on with motion but i want it normally off. I set this one to stay on for 9 minutes. You can set it up to be on continuously for 6 hours if you choose. Then it goes off and onto your timer setting if "tripped".For those avoiding "China junk", this is made in Malaysia. Adjustment is easy and perfect for under the eaves mounting. The sensor rotates so I guess it would work if mounted vertically also. I like the way it is both designed and made. At night the light is white and pretty bright. I'm now ordering another one for another house corner.

Eave/ Soffit light
Finding a LED motion detector isn't easy that will work on the eave or soffit. If I needed something for the wall, No Problem finding that fixture. The pickup range of this motion detector is Great! This fixture does work well. A couple of things that would make installation easier.1. The single screw to hang the fixture located in the center of the fixture is difficult placement for that nut. I know, 1 center where else would you put it? It's not location because they have been putting them there forever. But Not with that Design and Small nuts. It's also made to go in a electric outlet or ceiling box. A lot of times I find only a wire running out of the soffit. The bracket doesn't work without a box. Today I have to cut a hole in the plywood soffit to allow the offset bracket to go into it. It can't be screwed directly to the plywood because of the offset. You need the bracket because of the center mounting screw.2. The mounting screw is fixed. Welded will not screw in/up, won't move in and out. A lot of the older bracket they were real screw and would move in and out. Shorter or longer. The nut bottom outs leaving the base loose to the soffit. It moves around with space between the fixture and the plywood. Going to get small washers to take up the space between the screw and the nut.Fixable, but that why I’m writing this so someone will fix the problem and make it better.I was looking for a small fixture. This is a small fixture. On the front of a house it looks much nicer than most larger fixtures. Pictures show old type with screws that would move.I added 4 #8-32 washers. It pulled the light up to the soffit. A small gap but it doesn't move around.

great flood light
This is a good motion detector light and has worked well. The only issue us the controls for setting the timing for going off after detection. they work but just hard to maneuver and read.

Motion sensor never worked properly!
I never did figure out how to get this light to work properly. The sensor either was too delayed or didn’t work at all. Not sure what I did wrong, other than to wait too long to return it. Disappointed! When it worked occasionally, I got tricked into thinking maybe it would eventually be OK.

Bright and motion works great
Had to review this because of how good it was. The motion is wide and has been very responsive. The adjustable gauges on the bottom were easy to set up. Install took no time at all. There aren't to many choices for soffit mounted lights out there. Glad I ended up finding this one.

Good light, but only 7.25" tall, not 10" as listed in the product description
First, what's bad: The product description says: Product Dimensions 6"L x 6"W x 10"H.That is simply wrong. The height of the light is almost exactly 7.25". That may be a benefit in some cases, but it required acquiring and installing a spacer in my installation which meant an unexpected run to the store and longer installation time. Now, the good: If the height of the fixture had been properly described, I would have given this light five stars. The fixture is simply plastic, but the wiring connections are well designed for easy installation, and all of the pieces work very well except that the wire nuts assume that there will be only two wires for each wire nut. That's often not correct, and my installation required that the wire nuts fasten three wires. Fortunately I had larger wire nuts. The light is relatively bright, and the motion sensing works well. It's supposed to sense motion at 50 feet, and it doesn't come close to that -- 20 to 25 feet is more like it -- but that was plenty for my use.The ability to mount the light fixture in the eaves was a big plus, probably the main reason I bought these fixtures.

As expected, easy install
Light was what I expected. Lights are bright and installation was smooth. Only have up for a day but working fine.
