Kept my feet dry
What is for my son for Christmas? He said they were very comfortable and they kept his feet dry and run. True to size.

Comfortable, good deal boot
Comfortable, and good for multiple uses. Good enough to work or hike in, I even wear these on my motorcycle. The tongue is thick, which is a little awkward, and not totally water resistant. But, All around a solid boot for the price.

Good alternative to more expensive hiking boot brands.
I’m glad to have tried it. Never realised that good quality waterproof hiking boots could be affordable and durable at the same time. I have tried and always used a lot of well-known and popular brands and have always spent more than $200 for each pair. But the thing about boots is they eventually wear out especially if you use them almost everyday not just in hiking but at work, as casual wear and anything under the sun. So, for someone like me who uses waterproof boots for all seasons and almost all occasions, these boots fit the bill and I won’t be afraid of replacing them every so often. Good fit, true to size and easy to use right out of the box.

amazing boots for everything
the product is confortable and i got it wide side so no complaints about hurts, people need to see if they have a long toe before buy and pick the wide size not the normal one. Under rain work great and i like the design and color i got, people around told me where to buy it and for my hiking trips and daily work are very usefull, the quality of the material is nice and until now are with any damage, people who buy this stuff has to remenber shoes doesnt last forever i broke boots a lot because i take them to the limit in my job and my aventure trips around, and i use other brands famous but is the same i brake them the same with the time, but i recommend to buy different pairs of boots to have always cover in case one of them get out of bussines jaja

Comfortable, warm, waterproof, noisy
These are my first pair of Nortiv. Never heard of them, but I had to try something other than mainstream shoes. New shoes, sneakers, etc. these days are terrible quality, fall apart in a few months and are ugly as sin. They are warm and comfortable. I live in the pacific northwest and its rainy season (with a vengeance) this year. So far, the waterproof claims are true. I like them. The only issue I have is the scraping and crunching noises the shoes make when I walk. I can't tell if its the tread or the material inside the shoe. Walking on carpeted or linoleum floors, I can be heard walking from down the hall.

Generally Good Work Boot for Occasional Wear
Boots seem well made and not bad for the $40 I paid for them on an Amozon Lightening Deal. They are a little large but I wear a 7-1/2 and manufacturers don't seem to make many of that size and therefore boots/shoes in that size seem to vary in the fit. These boots lace all the way to the top through regular plastic oblong eyelets unlike my previous boots that had 2 rows of cleats on the top that you didn't have to thread the laces through. Lack of these cleats make it harder and takes longer to put on and take off the boots. There is no tab to grab on the back top of the boots to help pull them on.Otherwise boots are fairly comfortable (insoles seem a little thin) and should serve fine as "work boots" for occasional wear. If I were to wear these as everyday work boots I would consider some other boots. On the old Redwing Boots I had for years, the uppers were fine but the soles delaminated as did another pair of cheaper work boots that I had. Although the new boots look as if the soles are attached in the same manner as the old boots I had. Probably all boots manufactured in China are made this way but I hope the soles stay on these as goop and other glues could not repair and stop the delamination on the old boots and I had to discard them.

Great shoes for a great price.
After reading many reviews and the note on the item page saying that they generally fit to size, I picked up a pair of 9.5 black boots (with some grey trim) as I dig anything in black. If Batman wore a hiking shoe, this would be it. The stitching is well done and the fabric looks great - they don't look poorly made by any means. They appear to be water proof/resistant up to about half-way up the boot, at which point the water would seep in through the top - they aren't hip gaitors or water boots, so I wouldn't expect them to handle much more than a few inches deep puddle/mud. They feel super comfortable underneath my feet and around the sides - nothing awkwardly poking into the arch of my foot or the sides of my ankles. While I did pick my usual size, they do feel *ever so slightly roomy* - but I am wearing super thin socks and if I were wearing a thicker pair, I'm sure the shoe would be filled out a bit more. Also, I feel like if I got a smaller size AND wore a thicker pair of socks, I would find it slightly cramped. Also! Hiking tends to make your feet a bit bigger from the bloodflow so I think it's a good call to settle on a little roomy rather than a perfect fit when you're at home on a couch. I like how easily they go on/come off - you don't have to do much lacing/delacing or do any forcing of your foot into it. You can feel that the sole is made from different materials in different spots - treads are made of a rubber to give you grip where the rest of the sole is made from a harder material to make the soles last longer. Toe cap for a bit of protection/grip/easier ascents. Comes with an extra pair of laces. The photo on the item page does it fair justice but if I get around to pulling out my camera, I'll add a few photos of the shoes before I begin destroying them. All in all - super happy with my purchase and I trust they will serve me well on my thru-hike of the WCT in a month. Thanks for the sick boots, Nortiv8!
