SchickST2 for Men Sensitive Skin Disposable Razor - 12 ct - 2 pk

I normally buy a lot of cheap razors and get disappointed. I've even purchased really sharp ones in bulk from korea, but the problem is no matter how sharp a razor is, the second a razor gets clogged up with my hairs, it becomes the world's dullest, most hair-yanking painful, bump-raising nightmare.These shick ST2 have a mechanical button on the back of it that pushes some type of plastic wedge thing between the blades that pushes all the hair forward so I can just wash it off in the faucet and now the razor suddenly feels new instead of feeling old/dull after a few swipes across the face.They're the first razor I've had with this kind of button, and from my personal experience, the unclogging button makes these really inexpensive razors last me 1-2 weeks each without becoming torture, even though they're dirt cheap. Twin-blades without hairs clogging it up are still 10x a better shave than some super-expensive five-blade-razor which gets clogged up almost instantly because 5 blades so close together means no clearance for good cleaning of the junk that gets stuck in there. I don't shave where there's a high-pressure water nozzle to clean a regular razor (trying to spray the water hard enough to clean most razors just gets water all over the counter and it's also bad for the environment to be wasting so much clean water. The button means just a tiny amount of water and no spraying all over and it's good.)I shave with some common inexpensive gels, so maybe they help make sure the hair get pushed out with the button even easier or something, I haven't used these much completely dry so I won't comment on how they work for that. With the razor+gel I haven't had as much problems with in-grown hairs and razor burn, so with how inexpensive these Shick ST2 are when I can use a single one for 1-2 weeks, I can definitely afford to complement them with a gel or foam to get a really nice shave.

The blades are comfortable to use.

My local Walmart was out of stock on these for a month and it appeared they might be no longer offering them, so I turned to Amazon. Don't ask me why these have been my preferred razor for half of my shaving life, because I couldn't tell you why they work better for me than the poly-bladed over-engineered billion-dollar brands. Two things that I appreciate about them is that the head is so slim I can get into the tightest areas of my lip without putting my nostrils into jeopardy and also the plastic spacer between the two blades is designed to have a little travel forward and back so by depressing the part of it that sticks out the back of the head, you can dislodge embedded whiskers that accumulate between the blades.

For the money they work well.

My husbands razors came before mine. So I thought I would give his a try that I ordered for him, and OMG this is what smooth feels like? I’m impressed on how this little razor got meso smooth, and those others place that lady’s shave to. We have been using dallor save razors and they would never get close enough for me to be smooth like I like. NO MORE OF THAT!!!! Oh and that little button to do some fine cleaning to the razor is super dandy, why don’t they put that on the women’s razors? Thank you Schick for making this girls night a smooth one. Oh and my husband likes them to. We will be ordering again, and again and again.

I have been buying these after comparing other disposables and using expensive ones as well. I am 65 years old, so I have a bit of experience.I have sensitive skin, and my facial hair has always grown slowly. I only shave about every five days because I don't have to as I am self-employed.I am able to reuse the same razor for numerous shaves. (I am more prone to getting cuts when using a fresh blade.) It may take a few more swipes as the blade gets older, but as long as I get a clean shave, I don't feel the need to discard it; as such, these two packs will last for over a year.

Schick sells a cheaper version that look the same but don't last, these are much better

I have never understood why razor manufactures keep adding blades to their razors. One blade is all that is needed, but since I cannot find one blade razors anymore, then I will go with two blades. The Schick ST2 razor has to be the best value available. Very comfortable and they last longer than any other razor I have tried. Great value at less than 50 cents per razor. Please do not try to improve on this razor by adding more blades.
