"So let's talked about what is landscaping..."
I could barely get past the first page of this book due to awful grammar and nonsensical content. Run-on sentences, random capitalization mid-sentence, and poor use of punctuation abound. This book clearly was not proofread or edited in any way. It reads like a middle schooler's research paper, or something poorly translated from another language. Flipping through at a glance gave me the gems in the attached photos. It might be a passable read if you get it as a freebie on kindle, but I wouldn't waste a penny on this garbage. I returned it the next day.

So much good information
As a new homeowner, I now have a big yard and I do not know what to do with it. This book looks at so many garden examples and has the plants numbered in the photos so that I can jot those names down and go to the nursery. The book then also looks at decks, paths, fountains, etc. I found that awesome. I thought landscaping was just the plants. I had no idea the authors would cover all this other stuff too. I definitely have so many ideas now that I cannot wait to implement.

Uh, no...
The book is rather thin with a large font and black and white pictures (no color pictures). The paragraphs are short and poorly written. For example, on page 154, under a black & white photo, the following is written: "The modern marvel style of the pond is a nice style of a pond too. It is simply because of the marvels at the pond, but it has a nice style." So the modern marvel...never mind.

Great tips for improving home curb appeal
Landscaping is such a high selling point in real estate. With just a few small improvements, the value in your home can jump up significantly if it has curb appeal. I found this book to be especially useful for coming up with some ideas that I can incorporate into my home's landscaping. Although some of these some more luxurious than I could manage with a home of my size, there were some helpful tips and tricks to make my home for appealing. Great for anyone who is looking for some easy and quick ways to improve their homes value before listing on the current market

knowing the space size and have a layout on it is usually the easiest to start
As a beginner, it is not an easy task to make a landscape design plan without taking into consideration the design principles and elements. Landscaping is all about creating a space that fits your needs as well as your taste. If you hire a garden designer to do the job for you, there is an additional advantage of increasing the value of your house. You can create a garden landscape filled with colors all year round with knowledge of bulbs, trees, perennials, annuals, and others.

Rent or Own?
If you own your home, then you'll be able to make a lot more of the changes that you'd like to in your yard. First have a budget - that's a big deal.If you rent, you can still do some things to spruce up the outside area without having to dig into the ground. Planter boxes are a great idea. If you want to do a bigger project - I'd talk to your landlord first because you don't want to get into any trouble.
