Helikon-TexMen's Cargo Shorts

Really good shorts. They’re comfortable which is the big selling point. The Velcro and expandable waist is genius and everything should have both features. They’re thin without being -thin- if that makes sense. So there’s no unnecessary bulk. Wind doesn’t cut through them but they don’t hold heat either. So when you’re starting to sweat there’s no moisture build up even in cotton underwear. Right out of the package they have a bit of a bell bottom effect but a wear and a wash sorted that out and they lay straight down now. They don’t even need ironing. I’ve got what is always described to me as ‘rugby thighs’ so shorts and jeans are hard to come by. These accommodate and then some but they don’t make you look any wider. They move well and there’s no obnoxious noise like some nylon material makes. The pockets take some getting used to. They’re not bad just odd at first. The front and back pockets are massive so they hold just about anything you’d want. The side leg pockets with the zip are big as well and secure which is a big plus when moving around. The velcro pocket on the thigh is the odd one. My phone fits, iPhone 8 with slim otterbox case. It’s not hard to get in and out but it’s not easy so I can’t say it’s a useful place for your phone. Or for much of anything. I do use them from time to time to hold dog poo bags but even that is a bit of a weird fish-around with two fingers to grab one. I’ve ordered two more pairs and am anxiously waiting them. I don’t think I’ll ever buy different shorts. They’re a great combination of very comfortable and functional. My wife doesn’t even mind them and she hates cargo shorts

Buy a couple of pairs around every 9ish months and don’t need to research, just buy and wear!,

Have been wearing these almost daily for the last couple of weeks now. Im a postman and like having aome additional pockets for my pda, dockets, pens and my phone etc. These certainly fit the bill for my needs. I have a Sony Z2 with a slim wrap gel case which fits the velcro pockets on the thighs. If you have a larger phone then it might not fit as mine just fits comfortably with a little room either side. They appear well made, i normally take a 36" waist, these are marked as a 36" but feel slightly larger than what Im used too. The velcro waist closure seems robust enough but who knows after using it for daily use over several months if it will hold out. I'll let you know if and when it doesn't anymore. There's a good amout of leg room in them, I have large thighs and these fit well with a little extra room for movement etc. They also have a some give in the fabric which is nice as Im always bending, twisting etc getting in and out the van about 50 times a day, walking about 10-12 miles a day and to get to letter boxes and writing slips for customers to let them know where ive left parcels etc. They dry relatively quickly after some light rain. Seems to loose a little colour through washing, fading around seems and edges of pockets etc.Overall for the money, they are a good pair of shorts, seem robust, hoping to get about 6 months wear from them overall which I think will be possible without issue. If they pass the test I'll be buying more.

Sized as advertised, really good quality. I think worth every penny fit well and feel comfortable. I would highly recommend. Beware a lot of others out there that look the same but are not. I got shorts from Keepfaithe as advertised on Facebook a cheap knockoff,eventually arrived not Velcro fastening would not return no use for someone with only one arm.

Comfy, very hard wearing, will put up with substantial abuse and they dry very quickly.For the price, I’d say they’re up there with 5.11 tactical. Obviously not the same quality, but we’re talking a massive difference in price. For those on a budget, I go need reliable kit, you can’t go wrong with these. I’ve worn them in Sandy places and they have literally been put through the mill. Can’t fault them.

Maybe a little highly priced but excellent quality. This is my third similar pair. My only caution is to advise that the sizes do need to be carefully selected as the cut of the trouser is defiantly around the waist not hips.

Had one pair and outgrew them (thanks lockdown), first holiday came up and ordered two pairs. They are very comfortable and also secure with deep pockets and pockets for phones too.

True to size and fits well. Great pocket placement.Weird back pockets but they work.

I've worn many styles of their pants and shorts and they are all amazing. From fit, to stretch, to pocket layout. These are great pants and shorts. The only gripe that I have is with the noise of the VersaStretch fabric, it's not bad or obnoxious but they do sound like windbreaker material which can be a little off-putting. The stretch is fantastic though so it's an easy tradeoff in my opinion. I'll be buying more products from this company in the future for sure

I love these shorts. They have pockets everywhere. They are durable and casual enough to be paired with a button down shirt. The 8” length is perfect, and the adjustable hook-and-loop waist closure system allows me to adjust for periods of weight fluctuations. These shorts are worth every penny and I’ll definitely buy more.

I bought the pants, how could I not buy the shorts? Great pockets, stitching, zippers (though I kinda wanted a button fly), great cut on the thigh seam- a very sporty touchNot a complaint, just an observation. The pants were made in Helikon-tex duracanvas but the pants were in ripstop nylon. I want the pants in the ripstop nylon.Favorite material of 2022-2023 is the Helikon Tex Shadow Grey Ripstop Nylon... I would buy it as a duvet cover. I want seat covers and all kinds of random stuff in this color. Other brands grey like Proper, truspec, etc that I see gardeners and Venture Scouts wear sometimes is a really dull grey that is has like a white fabric base that fades light light grey. The HT shadow grey is very dark but colorful, like charcoal purple in the ripstop nylon and duracanvas and the cordura accessories and bags are sometimes this kind of seafoam/turquoise grey that is really close and has nice hue in different lights.Great stuff, I want a tour, please let me help translate your marketing collateral for the US market!!!!

Fits very well, with a velcro tab waistband so you can adjust to your own preference. Lightweight nylon, in hot humid weather these shorts are super comfortable. I use them for yard work, exercise, or casual going out. I really can’t find anything wrong with them.
