Update: Customer support was great. They replied to me right away, and sent out another box of 6 jars to replace the two damaged jars. Updated review from 3 stars to 5 stars. All 6 of the replacement jars arrived today and there is no damage to any of them.Two out of six jars arrived damaged. The packaging looked to be fine, but one of the jars had a crack going all the way from the lip down to the bottom. The second damaged jar actually had a chip inside it. It looks like the type of chip that occurs on a car windshield caused by small rocks hitting it.The other 4 jars as far as I can tell look to be fine and very well made. I have not tried anything extreme with them yet though such as hot temperatures or putting them into a freezer. I just have some homemade hot fudge in one of them and some homemade strawberry glaze in the other, with both in the fridge.The wide mouth is nice, and appears to be standard size that fits most lids.I have sent a message to the seller about the damaged jars just now, and will wait to hear back.

Just what I was looking for. Heavy duty, just drop it in the dishwasher and go. I make a very thick beef barley soup and the wide mouth makes it easy to use. Now if I can get my family to return them to me that would be a plus.

They are glass jars with a metal lid.They were not broken upon arrival. Packed very well for shipping. Save the box and molded inserts for storage.

Just as I expected. For this set of 6, I will use them for growing plants hydroponically. The wide mouth fits 3 inch net cups perfectly. I will cover the "shoulders with duct tape and keep a dark paper cylinger covering the height of the jar which I can then lift to see the height of the nutrient water within and replenish it as needed. I will support the baby plant with hydroponic clay pellets. I am using the Kratky method which does not require circulating the water. I use grow lamps, some full spectrum and some with red, blue, and red/blue LED bulbs.'The bottoms and tops of the jars are fitted into a rectangular material that has circles that just fit each jar perfectly and keeps them from falling into one another.

I got exactly what the advertised photo looked like. These were wrapped well with a foam insert separating each jar. I think I'll recycle the insert to use in the trunk of my car to transport fragile items. These jars will be used daily in my pantry and refrigerator. All parts washed up beautifully in the dishwasher.

Keep in mind I use the jars for dry goods. Good product , no complaints about quality , was packed very secure , but way more expensive then my higher end Super market , I could buy 12 , 32 ounce Kerr jars for 16 dollars and who knows what I would of saved at Walmart !

I specifically wanted wide mouth mason jars for duel purposes. I make overnight oats in these and I also use them to store food like rice, sugar, flour, ext. wide mouth jars make it easier to pour food into the jars and to eat out of it. These were perfect! They have a right seal and do not spill
