Solid shirt for the money

I work in a plate/part processing plant where we cut parts from sheets of metal. I used to just cycle through the various black shirts I owned with graphic designs as my clothes would get dirty and black/dark colors hid the grunginess the best. These shirts are super comfortable and have a great fit. I can't wear 100% cotton shirts as they tend to be more box-shaped and shrink in the wash. These have a longer length than normal t-shirts. The tri-blend material is soft and breathable, which is perfect for long hours on the job. I appreciate how durable they are, holding up well even after multiple washes. Due to the parts we produce and stack both having a somewhat square/sharp edge and at times being hot parts, I do develop small holes in the stomach region, but not really the fault of the shirt, just the fault of my work environment. Overall, I highly recommend these t-shirts for anyone looking for comfortable and reliable workwear. They’ve become a staple in my wardrobe! I will note, I've bought 8 of these total, as I work 4 days a week, so I can go two weeks before I need to wash all of them. I'm giving these 4 stars solely because the page when I purchased advertised 50% cotton, 25% polyester and 25% rayon, but the tags show 50% polyester, 25% cotton, 25% rayon. I would have preferred the 50% cotton, as I think that would have allowed these to breath a little more in warmer temperatures.

The tri blend gives it a slight texture that looks less plastic than some solid color t-shirts

Love the color, the fit and the feel. It's super soft! But there are already loose threads after only a few washes... Not sure I can recommend, unless you like sewing

Amazing shirt!

I went with this T because it is described to be the old American Apparel Tri-blend Track T’s that I loved. The item description claims that it is made in the USA, but it’s made in Guatemala. We’ll see how it washes up, but I doubt it will be anywhere near the original (left most in the image) version, and likely closer to the lesser quality one in the middle. Disappointed with the inaccurate description.

This is a jersey material shirt-not the tri-blend track that American Apparel makes.

Not sure these are genuine American Apparel as the quality of the material isn't great.
