Love it!!
LOVE this thing!! I put 2 of my chickens eggs in within 2 days of getting it. Intructions were very clear and informative. The temp was off by about 0.4, but that was easy to fix since you can calibrate it. I would definitely suggest getting a device to measure humidity, since this is so important. They are only a few bucks. There were so many options for buying incubators. In the end, my choice was based on this one being made here in the USA, and the instructions were written by someone who speaks proper English. So, 21 days later, I have 2 healthy happy baby chicks!! Could not believe they both hatched! I am now trying a couple turkey eggs!

Pretty good incubator
This incubator has been working pretty well for us. We are currently on day 16/21 with chicken eggs and can see that all 7 eggs are growing well. Temperature has been very easy to maintain. I purchased a hygrometer from Petsmart in order to keep an eye on humidity inside the incubator. Humidity has been the most challenging part, as it seems to dip pretty low once a day or so and I have to add quite a bit more water than the instructions recommended. Overall, it seems to be working well.**update** we incubated our second batch of 9 eggs. 7 hatched beautifully and 2 reached full development, but were unable to hatch for unknown reasons.

6 eggs in - all fertile and developing
This incubator was very easy to get started and assemble. Customer service was very responsive friendly and courteous. I hatch Seramas which are notoriously difficult and so far I’ve had 100% success rate. The incubator has been very easy to clean

Good value and effective
Overall easy to assemble and understand the instructions. I waited to review until I actually used it. Other than the thermostat being off a few degrees, it did a great job. I had 10 fertilized eggs, and all 10 hatched. Gotta say, I'm impressed for such a small machine.

HatchMate Incubator
- - Update from 5/4/19 - -As happy as I was when I initially unpacked the incubator, I do have a pretty serious concern now with my incubator as I am trying to hatch my first batch of eggs (ever). The temperature reading via the LED/device is constantly and DRAMATICALLY incorrect. Even after calibrating over and over and over...etc... I have an external thermometer (which I got via registering my device via email with the company) which is consistently reading lower than the displayed temperature (I’ve lost count at how many times I’ve had to calibrate the temperature on the incubator itself). This is concerning because every time I unplug and open the lid, the temperature never seems to stay calibrated to my hygrometer/thermometer inside the device and I have to start the calibration steps all over again (wasting at least an hour of my time to correct the problem). Because of this, I reduced my review to 3 stars. I hope I get to hear back from the seller; this problem is extremely frustrating as I begin my first round of eggs in the incubator.- - Initial review - -Received in flawless condition— box was well packed and well made. Instructions are clear and well written. The company itself is eager to help and please their customers. 5/5 stars and would recommend for others to try.We haven’t had the opportunity to try hatching yet. However I’m stoked to be giving this incubator a try in the near future. When we get the ‘bator running, I will put it through some tests and alter this review accordingly!

Foolproof!
The HatchMate was easy to set up and incubating in a matter of minutes. The temperature reading was accurate and with the egg turning feature, all I had to do was add water for humidity. Last night we starting hatching out our first chicks from our farm laid/raised turkeys. Also, I would like to add that even though it claims to hold 9-12, it only holds 6 turkeys eggs at a time since they are slightly larger than normal chicken eggs. I would agree that you could fit 9 normal chicken eggs and possibly 12 quail or bantam chicken eggs. Great value for the money.

Excellent purchase
I hatched 8 of my 12 chicken eggs by using this incubator. I didn’t use the turner, as 12 chicken eggs wouldn’t fit on it. I wanted to turn them myself anyway. I am confident that without using the turner I could have fit at least 24 chicken eggs, if not more. (My 12 - some small, some large, some in between - took up approximately half of the incubator without a turner)The 4 eggs that didn’t hatch didn’t appear to have developed at all. I believe they weren’t fertile to begin with, not a failure due to the incubator. I used a separate hygrometer to monitor humidity. I typically had to add water once or twice a day - but I was opening the top 5 times a day to turn the eggs. During lockdown (without opening the top) I only had to add water barely once a day. When I did, I used a dropper and added the water through the vent hole. I just made sure it didn’t get into the mechanics or wiring. The user manual suggests to bring humidity up a lot higher during lockdown than anywhere else would suggest. I split the difference and kept it around 70%. Clean up was simple. It is clear enough to be able to view the eggs hatching without a problem. Adjusting and setting temperatures was simple, although it maintained the appropriate temperature just fine.I am extremely pleased with the price and quality of this product. I am looking forward to hatching turkey eggs next.
